2025 Wrangler 4xe Willys '41 Special Edition Announced

Needs flat paint job, and does this one spontaneously burst into flames? If they haven’t fixed the problem with the 4xe what’s the point?

I can't be completely sure that they've fixed the problem, but my 4xe built 8/12/24 is not on the recall list.

All I can say is that I cannot wait until someone put those wheels on Marketplace as takeoffs when they put a set of aftermarket wheels on theirs. I'll happily put them on my Willys.

I Only have two large issues with it. It’s Only offered as a 4Xe, that Only comes in a 4 dr. ,
No Choice ….. well, maybe add it’s Only ~ 80X more expensive than an MB, uh, before options and shipping. ……

I’m half tempted to order the hood decals, omitting the / 4Xe. It looks like the font is slightly smaller, and I think the color will look good on my white hood.

Everyone wants a 2 door with a manual, me too. But the manual used in the JL is a shitbox. I don't see any reason they can't go back to the JKs 6 speed, or any other better one.

4Xe models all have 3.73 gears. I found a decent deal on some Rubicon axles a few months ago, but they were out of a 4Xe and had 3.73s. I don't really want E lockers anyway.

What would look great for seats is a canvas material, like in the original YJ Saharas. Or use sailcloth material like the Levis CJs used.

I have 4.10's in both of my 4xe Rubicons.

I wonder how hard it would have been for Stellantis to get the supplier of the front grille to make a run of them with the vertical parts painted body color instead of black? Failing that, for just the special trim package run of the ‘41, go back to the previous grille? The picture of both of them facing each other really points out how the new grille just doesn’t seem to carry the theme, yet it looks like something easily fixed.

I edited my post, that’s what I was told. Do standard 4Xe models have 3.73s? Maybe they thought since the axles were wide 210/220s that they were the same as Rubicons.

This is currently on display at the LA Auto Show. Sorry I didn’t get any pictures, had my hands full with the kids, but it did look better in person than I expected. Hopefully someone else will be able to post some choice pics.
