I live in the Northeast, and drove a 2021 Sahara for about 4 years with no issues with the front defogger. Recently got a 2025 Willys and the front windshield struggles to clear completely. The edges never completely clear. I'm going to try a good glass cleaning and de-fog spray, but I was just curious if this variability across vehicles was typical. I've read a few posts about defogging issues, so I know I am not alone, so maybe I was just lucky with my Sahara.

I had a 2019 Sport JL and currently own a 2025 Willys JLU. I also live in the NE, but have never had any problems clearing windshield fogging.

i don't know if this has something to do with the new dash design on the '25s, but i recall that there was a lot of buzz about plugging some of the center defrost vents to address just this problem.
IIRC, we used chair leg plugs to block some of the center vents to force more air to the sides.
these worked well for me.
