I would be weary of flow master, my buddy ordered an exhaust for his Camaro SS, they keep coming in damage and the build quality is pretty wretched. Had these welds on it that looked like my 7 year old welded it.

I am waiting to see if someone comes out with a tune though, that would be cool.

I wonder if a Burger JB4 for the 2.0T wouldn't work. It's a piggyback setup (not actually a programming tune, it manages the sensor inputs to utilize the ECM's programming to increase output). Burger is big in the German turbo scene (BMW, Audi, etc.)

I think someone did install a magnaflow or flowmaster exhaust on 4xe but he removed it shortly after.
When 4xe first starts the engine, it runs on electric motor while it runs the engine at 1500 rpm until cat is warmed up. And at 1500 rpm, there's pretty bad drone and it's even noticeable in stock exhaust as well. With aftermarket exhaust this drone gets amplified and becomes unbearable.
Regarding the piggyback, I'm pretty sure it'll work. But I'm just not sure how the added power from the engine will affect the electric motor which acts as a torque converter in our automatic transmission and will have to deal with the added torque from the piggyback tune.

I installed a Magnaflow catback exhaust on my Gladiator Mojave and it sounds terrible. Tinney drone that sounds like an import at all speeds and it’s not exactly cheap.

Mounted with pump and connected to aux - easy to pump between tanks.

I actually like the way the AWE exhausts sound on the 2.0, especially vs stock. I just wondered if they would work with the 4xe or if the setup is different underneath due to the added electric motor, etc.
