I got some 3d printed things off ebay to block off part of the grill when its super cold out, but really the main thing I do to solve the problem is just do more frequent oil changes in the winter.
If you have the Aux buttons then the wire bundle for them (right behind/under the glove box) has a 12v ignition switched source wire, in addition to the 4 aux switched wires, provided for exactly this kinda thing. That's what I used when I did mine.

SHW makes THE best stuff. they also support 4xEs which is lucky for me. For gas jeeps they have an amazing seat delete with storage as well.
my goose gear drawers are a hold over from a previous setup. If I were doing this today I would do something lighter in place of those. I’ll change them...
Based on your description I think you should get a 4xE. Awesome daily driver, but the same torque as the 392 and over 100 more horsepower than the 3.6 when those things matter.
I would also love to know this. Probably for the same reason. I’d like to add a switch so I can leave my 4xE running for longer than 30 minutes if I want without having to unplug the door.
I mentioned the wait, but you are of course right that they are pretty spendy too.
I agree that people should remove their RTTs for daily driving, this is why I first suggested the GFC super light.
If you are wanting to take your RTT off for daily driving I would suggest trying to get a GFC superlight. If you can wait for it to be made (7-8 months lately) I recommend the URSA minor. Lighter and lower profile than any other tent option, plus you can stand up in the jeep with it.
Did you get an answer to this question? I can measure my battery tray but I'm not optimistic on that extra length. I was looking today at maybe doing that swap for the extra juice.
I called genesis today and they were very helpful. I am going to try some of the troubleshooting steps I talked through with them today but I think I either have bad cranking battery or my solenoid is stuck open. Either way I should be covered by their warranty or the battery warranty depending...
I found out a coupe weeks ago that they stopped putting drain plugs on the front diffs a couple years ago. It sounds like its for the best (though I would have preferred that they move it instead) but I was super confused after watching a video on the process and then not being able to find my...
I don't think it has been. I asked Shane when I met him at overland expo last year and he said that he couldnt get his sisters Jeep in (I think she moved? I cant remember)
It really is an easy fix to do the Jeeperz Kreeperz bracket mod though.
I should report however that I am currently not...
