If you keep your V6 Jeep stock, you will be surprised how good the mpg is. As a well wisher I would say get the V6. Drive conservatively making sure you stay in 8th gear most of the time and your mpg will be pretty good. The Pentastar V6 is a sweet engine.
Yeah. A 2-door sport with the small tires gets ~23-25 MPG with the 3.6L. The Rubicon tires and weight really hurt the fuel economy.

My 2 door Willys that came with 33" MT's got 23 mpg once.
It was such a sweet Jeep, I changed it beyond recognition 😁

It's hard for me to understand why two engines with nearly the same horsepower are offered.
Because Stelantis wanted to have only the turbo 4 but too many people would have pitched a fit about it so they had to have a minivan motor still

You know if that 2.0 is so Superior and you just know it then why do you care so much?

For someone so secure in they're smugness you sure seem awfully self-conscious about it...

🤣🤣🤣👌

You're only so defensive because you don't even know how to drive a manual.

HA!

Turbos don't like stop and go traffic or lots of stop signs/lights. They will really take a hit in fuel economy if that's part of your daily.

My old CJ5 with a AMC360 and 3spd auto got about the same mileage as the 4cyl turbo subaru we had, when strictly driven around town. The Jeep launched alot harder also.

Back to your question, I say go with the v6. Oh wait you can't get the good v6 (EcoDiesel) anymore, not new anyways.
Can the v6 e-torque still be had???

I'd agree with others, go test drive both engines and use that to help decide.
Dude, really!
All I can say is you either had one sick Subaru or you should have contacted Guinness Book in regards to that immaculate 360 you had.

I was under the impression Subarus weren't really known for fuel economy. I mean even today they're below average.
