I know my 24 sounds different than my 18, it sounds betterThe 3.6 really sounds good if you open up the exhaust I think.
Definitely one of the better sounding six cylinders out there.
Well, Maserati is the Olive Garden of Italian automobiles... I'm not sure having a 3.6 from a Chrysler minivan under the hood of one is a point of pride for those owners.6 are in Masserratis. All you need to know. Wind it up it sounds just like one, mostly, if I imagine.
It's not that they like the Prius specifically it's that they like to virtue signal. The Prius name is what does it.Prius owners are like Subaru owners, they love their Subie and Priu. The new Camry gives you almost as good feel mileage as the prius, but nope, Prius owners like their Priu![]()
Exactly. They think they are sophisticated high class people and we must be barbatic cave men driving around in Jeeps. It's not that they like the Prius specifically it's that they like to virtue signal. The Prius name is what does it.

ThisIt's hard for me to understand why two engines with nearly the same horsepower are offered.
2 miles is plenty of time for that little engine to come up to temp. Not really any difference for a turbo'd engine vs a N/A as far as condensation build up from short trips.Personal preference.
I chose the 3.6 for two reasons:
1) My commute is short. <2 miles. Doesn’t give the turbo’s enough time to warm up, which may cause issues.
2) 6MT. Only available with the 3.6.
I’m sure the 2.0 is great. The 3.6 has been around a long time and has been a proven engine.
Having said all that, what I would prefer is the 2.8 diesel with the 6MT.
Six-cylinder sounds right for you. I drive 20 mi for work to and from, 40 miles per day on top of the 200 miles we do every weekend. My EcoDiesel is fantastic. Even with 35s, I'm still getting 21 MPGs driving around at 90 mph.Living in Los Angeles were worried about our gas mileage and crappy gas prices. Looking for Rubicon two-door or four-door and I'm debating if I should go 4-cylinder or 6-cylinder. I drive 30 mi a day to and from work and I'd like to go out and explore so cal as much as i can. I know the six cylinder is reliable as hell, but what about the 4-cylinder? Does anyone have any pros and cons for it?

Corporate average fuel economy requirements. It's hard for me to understand why two engines with nearly the same horsepower are offered.
Where was the 5.7 hemi? This, a squishy torqued NA V6 or a T-4 with slightly more to a 470 lb ft V8 , diesel dropped. Where TF is the mid level, like a T-6 ?
With constant arguing over essentially what should be the Base engine.
