I would drive that. If I ever got a job that required in office and it was far from home, I'd buy something like that.
The new one has a larger displacement, 2.0 L and plug-in hybrid version will give you like 240 horsepower. It has 18-in wheels and still 55 mpg. 50 miles of pure EV.

The only Prius I would drive would be the prime with the solar roof. But, with modern science, I still have like 100 years to go before I consider it.

Living in Los Angeles were worried about our gas mileage and crappy gas prices. Looking for Rubicon two-door or four-door and I'm debating if I should go 4-cylinder or 6-cylinder. I drive 30 mi a day to and from work and I'd like to go out and explore so cal as much as i can. I know the six cylinder is reliable as hell, but what about the 4-cylinder? Does anyone have any pros and cons for it?
To try to help you I can say this I’ve had both I love the V6 cuz I know what to look for long term for issue. I was scared to death getting the 4cyl I had no choice was only option available. I only had it for a year I had zero complaints great gas mileage for a jeep lol and was fun to drive I didn’t know how to act 🤣 you’d swear I had a sports car. Look over the threads it will give u a headache but hopefully will make yr choice a bit easier good luck

We buy jeeps for the mud and rocks, not the gas mileage. Oh, and the sound my mud tires make on the highway.

All that aside, 2.0 all the way

And here I thought you were an all right just slightly misguided guy and then I find out you love the Prius I don't know what to tell you dude but just no. That thing is vomit inducing.

I know everyone is bitching about you asking, ignore them, We have two jeeps both 2.0 non etorque, 2 and 4 door both quick and good on gas, the 3.6 is a great engine and you will get pretty good mileage but for me is feels sluggish compared to the turbo. We get 20-24 town and highway in both 35” tires
2door is regular rubicon 4 door has the recon gearing so they actually feel similar

You might want to see what actual Jeep mechanics think and choose to drive.
Quite a few on this forum. Or just get jeepjunkie to start a Poll LOL!

V6 sluggish? I did a muffler delete and pedal commander on my stock 2 door Rubi and it moves along nicely. Definitely run circles around the old 4.0 straight six.

I mean thats not really that big of a bar to jump over especially with the placebo pedal commander

I know the pedal commander adds no HP, but it does wonders for throttle response. I don't feel like I've got to floor it to get it to move. I know it's not the wife's 3.5 Ecoboost F-150 (400hp. 500lb/ft) but it's no slouch.

An interesting side note: her F-150 curb weight is 250 lb. more than my Jeep. To see both side by side one would think at least 1000 lb. difference.

Yea all really it does is change 1/4 throttle to 1/2 throttle, could have done the exact same thing for free by just pressing more.

Not touchy - just been beat to death. I was one to ask the same question years ago.

Test drive both.

Or.....walk around town shaking a can of pennies. That will be your exact experience acoustically while driving the 4cyl
Not trying to go back n forth with you. But if yr sick of it you don’t have to read it agagin? People come here for help. And talk with others why get funny and say read this or that? That don’t help much. Isn’t that what these forums are about?

Actually, a pedal commander will also speed up throttle movements, which means more than you might think. The one on my '21 Mustang GT made a vast difference in speed of throttle opening. Jeep is similar.
