Guys, have you noticed, you have to floor the Pentastar to get power out of it, it doesn't do a thing in less than 3000 rpm 😁 And since that Pentastar engineer said frequent WOT runs are good for it so I enjoy reving it, my oil pressure hits 82 psi many times a day 😁

Turbos don't like stop and go traffic or lots of stop signs/lights. They will really take a hit in fuel economy if that's part of your daily.

My old CJ5 with a AMC360 and 3spd auto got about the same mileage as the 4cyl turbo subaru we had, when strictly driven around town. The Jeep launched alot harder also.

Back to your question, I say go with the v6. Oh wait you can't get the good v6 (EcoDiesel) anymore, not new anyways.
Can the v6 e-torque still be had???

I'd agree with others, go test drive both engines and use that to help decide.

16 tops ☹ Stock I got 23 once
Well, you've got a beautiful built up jeep. You're driving the coolest vehicle on the road IMO. Comparing it to my Xterra with factory size tires, which is something like 30-31". It gets about 17 mpg. All things considered I say you're doing pretty good as long as you're not traveling across country.

Thanks! 😃👍
In August I want to do Black Bear Pass so I need to save for gas 😁 Around 3000 miles, 15 tanks of gas probably.
