I had the same squeak for months at cold start. Got progressively worse, louder and started to take longer to go away. Sorry, It is not normal for belt squeak on a low milage vehicle, and I wasn't buying the "They all sound like that" BS.. After four trips to the dealership, they figured out that my crankshaft pulley was splitting and slightly out of alignment with the belt, probably from a rock or something impacting it. Once they replaced that it's been all quiet.

OP, don’t listen to ?? replies from those saying “it’s normal”! Tick is normal and goes away after warm-up. Squeaking or squealing is NOT normal. My engine is completely quiet after warm-up.

mine is quiet after warm as well. it's that first 30 sec to 2 min of squealing pig noises that are annoying

I have a 2021 High Altitude and the squeaking just started about two days ago. It gets more squeaky as the RPMs go up and will eventually stop squeaking after about 5 to 10 minutes of normal driving. Does anyone know what would cause this? Why did it just start out of nowhere? And where would I even begin to look to try and troubleshoot/fix the issue?

I hate to resurrect an old thread, but I have the same squeal like a belt is slipping. I took it to the dealer, and they claimed the crank pulley was worn. They warranteed it and they claim to have replaced it, but the squeal is exactly the same.
It does it on cold starts and it goes away quickly once you start driving it. The warmer the Jeep, the less you hear the squeal.
Again, I apologize for bring up an old thread. It's just that it's perfectly relevant to my situation. Does anyone know what is going on with it? Surely someone has figured this out by now
