392 Specific Lift Kits

Talked with Accutune today -- I'll be going with the 2.0's with RRs. I think that'll be the best for me... said it should be fine without fade in Moab as long as I'm not doing that 100% of the time. 392 will be 90% on road, and 10% off road. Gladiator is a bit different, but sounds like I might be selling those and swapping to the 2.5 DSC's instead.

Is nobody running a Teraflex RT4 or CT4 Lift?

We have a few 392's currently running different lifts, with one being our RT4 long arm kit and another being a CT3 short arm kit. Fitment wise everything lines up so far, but we've gone into long term testing with them and a few different kits to test long term durability and performance to better understand if any changes are needed.

I sure wish you guys would make a High Angle Rzeppa repair kit for the JL, better yet would be a Rzeppa front drive shaft for the JL.

That's great to hear. I've had Teraflex lifts on my last five jeeps, a true fan, I was one of the first JL's in AZ to have one. Please keep me posted, once I'm in receipt of my 392, a 3.5"- 4.5" RT4 will be my first upgrade.

Can anyone who has the metalcloak 3 1/2" kit let me know eye to eye measurements at ride height front and rear for the 392. Need to determine if I go with the 3 1/2-4 1/2" fox shock which is closer to 28 1/2" extended vs the taller one which will provide 31" extended.

Front 17.7 - 30.0 inches
Rear 17.7 - 30.0 inches
I have the MetalCloak 3 1/2 Game Changer Lift on my 392. Not currently at home but will see if I can get you a measurement.

Just left town for a hunting trip but I’m running Fox 2.0 4.5-6” lift front shocks and 3-4” rear shocks on my 3.5” GC lift. I think the shock length is perfect. I did research and crossed my fingers that it would all work and so far it is. I’m at 2 bumps up front currently, which is perfect for my front shocks. Going to fine tune the rear next week with 37s. May end up removing 1 bump out back. I’m running my front shocks in MCs shock relocation brackets. 2.0s have different lengths than 2.5s so keep that in mind. As close to ~18” compressed/30” extended the better.

Still have 1/2” before I compress the rubber jounce bumper on the shock. It’s lightly touching here at full stuff, IE perfect.

Rear shock from same flex pic, wasn’t touching the bump stops yet. Getting it on a fork lift to fine tune with 37s next week:

They are up to 3 months right now on some stuff, hoping mine don't fall into that range or I'll literally miss Moab (or well, be forced to run the rock shocks I guess which I suppose isn't the end of the world).

I'm probably going to run 39's eventually, but sticking with 37's for now since I can't even get 39" tires right now in KM3s.

Makes sense... I think the 2.5's have different numbers than the 2.0 as far as compressed/extended.

Unfortunately we don't at the moment, there's enough on going projects that it's hard to give solid ETA's on things.

Do you mind letting me know measurements at ride height -- eye to eye, for front and rear with your setup?
