35s regear

Got 2024 willys 2.0 4 dr. I recently put a new set of wheels rocktrix 17x9 +12 offset on stock 285/70/17. Im happy with the setup but not fully satisfied i want bigger tires. 315/70/17 is what im aiming for, will i need re gear for this size? Someone mentioned before 2024 willys comes with 4:10s gearing and 35s will be just fine. Will i rub on full turn lock? Last thing will 35s fit on the spare with no problem? I dont offroad its mainly my daily driver.

You run the risk of rubbing. Why are you getting such a positive offset?

My wife runs 37s on her 24 Willys with no issues on 4.10s, I think you’ll be fine with 35s. If you can put your thumb between the tire and lower control arm now, then you shouldn’t have any problems with 15 more millimeters in terms of rubbing. Any generic off brand spare tire relocation bracket will work to raise the spare enough to clear the bumper. Might add a hinge reinforcement plate while you’re at it.

I run the Mickey Bajas LT315-70-17 (35s) Load Range E on my 23 Wrangler "IZARUBI" 2 Dr with Methods 106 Beadlocks running 4.10:1 and I am not seeing any problems them. My turning radius is awesome. I can make a very sharp u-turn with no problem.

You'll definitely want to run lower air pressure to make it comfortable.
