Is the Tazer just for the speedo? Does mopar have 4:56 gears, or will they only go as high as 4:10 for factory spec?
Dealer did my 4.88 yukons in and its covered . I actually had a pinion failure at 3500 miles. They covered it all and gave me a lifted ram rebel to drive for a week.

Just curious, how much did they charge, if you don't mind me asking? Did they flash your computer, or did you need a plugin like a tazer. I'm trying to keep it simple with no extra equipment if I don't need it.

2200, they said they flashed it, but speedo is off by 4 mph at 60. So i dont think so.

2200 not a bad price... I think 4mph isn't too bad either, I feel like they set the speed a little lower than actual from factory anyways... thanx for the info.

For those of you with the Sport did you have lockers installed along with the re-gear?

I did but only in the back. Ive been very pleased with just having the rear selectable. My $2k quotes only covered labor for the locker install.

If you have a manual transmission, I would definitely go 4.88’s with 35’s. Hope you get it figured out and really enjoying your Jeep soon.
Thanks for this input. I'm on 315/70's with a Manual and i have the 3.73 rear end. been trying to figure out what to do, it drives fine around town but its a dog on the interstate.

hahha... oh yea, staying in 4th and 5th.
BTW which model got the 3.73's? I've only seen those on the diesels? I was under the impression USA was 3.45 or 4.10 on gas engines.

AFAIK ordering a manual and/or anti-spin gets you D44, but still 3.45 ratio.
Yep, I have a manual, anti-spin, m220... it has the 3.45.

Anyone running 35 inch tires with 4.56 gears? If so, are you liking that setup? Any major drawbacks on the highway?

I'm looking to re gear from 3.45's and I'm torn between 4.10's and 4.56's.
I went with 4.56s, and Nitto Ridge Grapplers (35x12.5x20). I have the 2.0T and the “zip” is back. Love the set up, excellent balance of power.
