  1. Lightest weight 37's???

My wheels are 20”, 37x12.50R20s. Who makes the lightest brand tire? Kumho Road Venture AT52s looks interesting.
  2. Lightest weight 37's???

Just found these 37” tires from Landsail (https://landsailtires.com/tires/clx10-rangeblazer-a-t). Only 66lbs … they appear to be more road worthy than off-road, but that’s the bulk of my driving anyway. I plan to give them a try once my 35” Ridge Grapplers wear down … 58,000 miles and counting...
  3. Overland Jeeps

For those that have mounted RTT on Vortex bars, we’re you able to use the RCL lower profile? I’ve purchased RCL + iKamper 2.0 … arriving shortly.
  4. 4.56 or 4.88 regear for on road use?

It’s been a few months … did you get the 4.56 and 37s installed? Are you happy with the rpms, etc.?
  5. HIGH ALTITUDE Edition JL Club Thread

It drives well and I love it … my wife, on the other hand, not so much
  6. 4.56 or 4.88 regear for on road use?

Hi there ... my acceleration is excellent out of the hole, and lots of pep for passing. I would tend to agree that 4.88s will be too short and an issue on the highway. If I move to 37s, I will get a lighter tire, e.g., the Nitto 37 Terra is lighter than the Nitto 35 Ridge ... note I only have...
  7. 35's on 4.56 Gears

I went with 4.56s, and Nitto Ridge Grapplers (35x12.5x20). I have the 2.0T and the “zip” is back. Love the set up, excellent balance of power.
  8. Texas Sold: Tires ... Nitro Ridge Grapplers

35x12.50R20, 5 tires, only 10,000 miles, rotated once including the spare, moving to 37s ... $1000 or best offer. Greater Houston, TX area.
  9. JLU Rubicon on 35s no lift

Yesterday, I added the Teraflex HD carrier to my Mopar tailgate reinforcement kit. Huge improvement! I have 10” wheels, -24 offset, and a heavy 35/12.50R20 Nitto Ridge Grappler spare. The tire stuck out too far and placed a lot of strain on the gate (I could see it wobble on rough surfaces)...
  10. Installed the Teraflex Alpha tire carrier last night...love it!

Installed mine today along with the Mopar tailgate reinforcement ... no telling when the Teraflex hinges will be available. Very solid!
  11. 4.56 or 4.88 regear for on road use?

I just have the 2.0T AT, 4.56 gears, and 35s. Nice to have 7th and 8th gears back! I’ll move to 37s when my 35s wear out, which will be ideal. BTW, I’m getting 19 mpg over 8+ tanks of fuel, with a lot of driving at 65 mph.
  12. 2.0 Turbo owners what octane are you using?

93 octane, getting 19.5 after 8+ tanks, 60-70% of my driving is at 65 mph, re-geared 3.45 to 4.56, Borla muffler, Mishimoto air intake
  13. HIGH ALTITUDE Edition JL Club Thread

I went with 20x10 XD Grenade (-24 offset) and Nitto Ridge Grapplers 35x12.50R20 ... love them, but I also have a 2” Mopar lift. Will move to 37x12.50R20 Nitto Terra Grapplers when the RGs wear out.
  14. Mall-crawler, poser, or enthusiast?

The beautiful thing about America is that we can all do whatever the hell we want with our money - at least for the moment - and what anyone else thinks doesn’t mean a thing. We spend way too much time putting people in buckets or categories ... do what you want with your Jeep and enjoy it!
  15. Turbo 2.0 exhaust upgrade

Sorry, don’t have any video. The Borla muffler and Mishimoto CAI were very easy to install ... if you need help, call your mother-in-law!
  16. Turbo 2.0 exhaust upgrade

As noted, the S-Type Borla muffler is fairly loud ‘initially’, but very quickly gets quiet as it gets hot. Thereafter, I think it sounds ‘throaty’ but not obnoxious. Personally, I like it.
  17. 2.0 Turbo with 35s or 37s PICS

35s, but re-geared to 4.56. Great low-end torque and zip ... really unleashes the 2.0T. Run about 2300 RPMs at 75 MPH, fully recalibrated. Will likely move to 37s once the Nitto Ridge Grapplers wear out.
  18. 2.0 Turbo average MPGs

35s, 4.56 gears, Borla S-Type muffler, Mishimoto intake ... getting 19 combined highway and city over multiple tanks of premium fuel ... not bad for a box on wheels
  19. HIGH ALTITUDE Edition JL Club Thread

All the stickers are gone ... keeping getting questions from people, “is that a Jeep?“
