Believe what you like...in all of the posts you have made here, little has changed your stance.

You need to learn what a VOA/UOA can and cannot do. If you were basing the quality of an oil on a single VOA then you are drawing a completely invalid conclusion. You need other third-party data and MUCH more in depth testing to validate your claims about HPL or any other product. A one time $40 oil analysis from a lab that is neither certified or uses current ASTM methodologies is NOT something that I would use as a basis for anything.

I reported them to the Amin. So why should I take an oil promoted by those lowlives seriously? When I contacted HPL about high aluminum in the sample, they started reacting aggressively and started attacking Blackstone. Very unprofessional. I'm really mad at myself for wasting my money buying oil from these tree shade blenders who nobody knows except the BITOG cartel.

I just made my 1st oil change at the dealer today and they put 0W20 Synthetic oil in my Rubicon 3.6 l engine.

I argued with them that according to the Owners Manual, its only the 2.0 l engine that required the Synthetic oil... not the 3.6 l engine.

They told me that the 0W20 grade was only in Synthetic blend... Is that true?

To me according to my owner’s manual, my 3.6 l Rubicon engine should only required regular dinosaurs oil ! Am I wrong ?

dealer has always used Penzoil 0-20W synthetic. Pretty sure everyone uses synthetic these days. dont believe the 87 octane on the 3.6 either. runs like Poo with 87. Ive ran 91 octane in my 3.6 for the past 5 years.

Exactly what I do. 0W-20 every 3k miles, and run 91 with no ethanol. 51,000 miles and it runs great.

yup when i get up to the 70K mark i will move up to 0-30 or 2-20

Amsoil uses Polaris/Horizon. They are one of the best labs out there and for the money, they would be hard if not impossible to beat. They include TBN or TAN testing (depending on oil type) at no extra cost and use gas chromatography for fuel dilution testing.

Sir, 99% of BITOG members including their moderators are trolls. I wouldn't trust a thing they say. I think the website receives fat checks from companies like HPL to speak good about them. My VOA of HPL 0w20 has over 20 ppm of Aluminum, Blackstone said don't use that bottle. HPL is snake oil, horrible quality control. I will use nothing but Pennzoil and Mobil 1 going forward

HPL is snake oil made by tree shade blenders and promoted by BITOG mafia. Mobil 1 and Pennzoil are the best and they are household names, they have a big reputation to protect. Tree shade blenders have nothing to lose.

Sir my mind is 100% clear now, PUP 0w20 in Dec, Jan and Feb. And PUP 5w30 the rest of the year. No more testing of snake oils made by and promoted by shady people.

Only 1% of them, 99% are trolls. Make a thread and say I just bought a 2025 Toyota Prius, what oil should I use. They will tell you HPL Supercar 0w40 And the rest of the trolls join and gang up on you if you disagree. And then the head of the trolls the moderators will start sending you threatening messages. It's one shitty forum.
