Sequence pdf appears to be for a four cylinder.
An easy button for about $200 more over factory bolts would be P1 Manufacturing Cyl Head studs that are made in Missouri. I called them and their 3.6 Pentastar studs get torqued to 105 ft lbs. Get a Quinn torque adapter that’s within 1% of target and you’re good to go. I have a few torque wrenches but none of them are 1% accurate. A good torque angle torque wrench can be pricey. Then those torque angle adapters with the dial can move around.

I’m getting close to getting my heads off so I’ve been planning ahead.
2 kits req I assume?

Thanks I have few torque wrenches some manual click some digital, but I doubt I’m with in 1 ft lbs every time so that makes sense, I appreciate your help 👍
I have probably 10 torque wrenches and just picked up Icon digital with angle specifically for jeep and it is really nice. I compared it to snap on and its dead on. I would be perfectly fine using it to torque a head. I did subaru heads and just used a breaker bar, marked a socket with sharpie and torqued the head, visually aligning marks. It was just fine and heads outlasted the car. Nice angle torque wrench is so much easier. Icon has audible alarm and color markings that change to show that you are approaching the angle.

Just 1. I was going to go through them but after calling twice and not getting a call back, I told P1 that I’d be going through them which is no problem. I tried to support their vendor but it made me uneasy not getting communication imagining if there happened to be a problem.

And they have a great Facebook page with regular posting and being in Missouri, I feel pretty confident in the product.
