Originally wanted a 2019 2 door but the small price difference and room to haul convinced me on the 4 door. Still think the 2 door looks better. The 3.6 averages barely over 19 in my mixed driving. Just burned a tank on a trip and got 21.

I don’t worry about MPG’s. Got a Wrangler. Gas prices are going nothing but up. Two door tank is small. I just enjoy the ride and cherish all the extra relaxing stops at the pump. ?
Honestly I enjoy more frequent stops when road tripping too! I probably get around 275 miles per tank and that’s more than enough to stop and stretch my legs.

Also, with my same driving style I was only getting ~14mpg in my 2021 Tacoma TRD Pro. 18-19 makes me much happier.

Edit: My window sticker said 25 HWY. I would argue it’s an impossible number to obtain in any 100 mile highway trip.
WHERE and HOW you are driving is 95% the factors......tire size, tops etc are the other 5% IMHO...but that is my completely un-scientific opinion.

Our stock JL 2 door 80th anniversary gets 19-21 around town......and 21-22 highway around here......70-80 mph. We live around a LOT of hills. And it also depends on who is driving, me or the wife. I have a heavy right foot....LOL

But when we road trip , as the roads flatten out -- like I-95 -- we got up to 27-28....loaded with our stuff for the trip......freedom panels out (first trip) and sunrider open (since then)....and that is verified by math.

Not sure how we get more than the sticker says we should.....but we do....never had THAT happen with a new vehicle before...LOL

So the roads you are on factor in quite a bit.

On the other hand, my ram crew cab with the hemi gets 10-11 around town.....never better than 14-15 highway no matter where we are, I think sticker says higher......... dunno.....
