I just installed new wheels and tires on a 2024 Sahara. I bought from Extreme Terrain, they came mounted and balanced with new sensors. The Jeep won’t pick up the new sensors. I went to discount tire to have them flash the sensors but no luck. I was going to have new sensors installed but they don’t have any for a 2024. I am going to take my OEM wheels to them and have them swap the sensors. Jeep must have changed the sensors for 2024. What a pain!

You are jumping to conclusions in regard to the TPMS sensors for your 2024 JL.

Schrader 33500 EZ Sensor works with 2021 after 06/07 builds..... and with 2022, 2023 and 2024 JL's.

You undoubtedly have the wrong TPMS's in the wheels you received from Extreme Terrain.

I’m surprised discount tire stated that their was nothing that would work. I know the OEM ones work. I also wonder why Extreme Terrain didn’t send the correct ones. Has anyone verified that the ones you mention work on a 2024.

It's possible Extreme Terrain installed the wrong TPMS's.

Buy the correct TPMS's for your 2024. Go here and buy if you do buy. Exc. customer service, fresh, known to not be counterfeit TPMS's.

Or, use the TPMS's that your JL left the factory with.

I am showing a few sensors that local stores should carry. Did the local store not have sensors in stock?

Local store stated sensors that work with a 2024 are not available. I am taking my OEM wheels there on Tuesday and they are swapping the sensors.

We apologize for your experience with the TPMS sensors. We would like to look further in to this to make sure you're taken care of. Hope you don't mind us sending a DM.

It boggles my mind as well why tire shops just don't get TPMS. All they have to do is look up your VIN, call a dealer etc and they would have found out and known that the 2024 OE part# is the exact same as the 2023. Better yet just update your tool (they use Ateq) and the 24's are already in there and that also shows the same part# as 23.

I am having the exact same issues. I have new tires and wheels purchased from Custom Offsets. They connected right up to my 2021 Rubicon in May when I installed them. In August I pulled them off, traded the 21 for a 24 Rubicon and now they will not connect. I've reached out to Custom Offsets and they told me they are automatically going to reprogram. Set the correct pressure and drive for 30 minutes over 15MPH and I should be good. Unfortunately I've tried twice and they still won't connect. I really don't want to spend the money to replace them but not sure what else to try at this point.

The TPMS sensors that you said "connected right up to my 2021 Rubicon in May" will not work on your 2024. Whomever at Custom Offsets you communicated with is full of chitt..... you have the wrong TPMS's for your 2024!

For your 2024, you need ....your choice Continental TPMS's or the new Schrader 33500 TPMS's. Just be cautious where you buy from. Sure you may save a few $ but end up with old or counterfeit TPMS's.

I myself only buy from tpmsbargains.com.

Suggest you buy the Schrader 33500 TPMS's from www.tpmsbargains.com @Goin2drt

https://www.tpmsbargains.com/Jeep-Wrangler-TPMS-Sensor-p/tpms-1051-43-335-0910-wra.htm

The Schrader 33500 TPMS's you buy from them will be fresh, non-counterfeit and YES, programed
and with these correct for your JL TPMS's, you install them and your JL will play with them with no action by you.

@BeardedBB

Swapping out the TPMS's costs a few $ per wheel. Remember you need 5 TPMS's... 4 for the on ground wheels and one for the spare.

SAVE the old TPMS sensors as you can sell here in the forum classifieds and get some $ to use toward/for new TPMS's.
