What I think could have happened and maybe still will, is that they might delay building Jeeps that they think they cannot ship quickly. If one Jeep is going to New Mexico and another Jeep is going to Ohio, Indiana, or another State that doesn't require a train ride, they might build that Jeep before the one that goes to New Mexico. But Jeep may not use logic to determine their build order...

Asked my salesman to check if he could change my seats to tan (Earl paint , 1 day after order confirmation), don’t care how well it matches (no offense to anyone who ordered tan, I have it in my white JT), told him to not tell me if he could make the change. “Surprise me!” I’ll be happy with black too.

So I tried to get a better deal at Dillons in Idaho. They APPEARED to beat my local dealers price by $1200. But wait. We have a $700 ‘safety package’ and 'exclusive financing.'

I thanked them for their time. They got back to me and scrubbed the cost of the 'safety package,' so I got interested again. But then they wanted a $3k non-refundable deposit. I asked what would happen if their exclusive lender denied my application or accepted it at exotic rates. He said I'd lose my deposit.

I again thanked him for his time.

I've filled out the online form at Clutch Auto Sales. I wish they just had a phone number.

finalized build sheet with Leon at Criswell for a manual JLUR on Tuesday and order was placed on Wednesday 8/3 (received POC same day with VON). Tracking info went live yesterday and received welcome email from Jeep today. Expecting it by Thanksgiving or Xmas but hoping for October.

I ordered 7/16 and have never received any emails from jeep. Called my dealer to get the VON and that’s all I have.

I always said I wouldn’t sell my TJ until they came out with a diesel rubicon.

I listed my baby for sale today and ordered ‘The New Hotness.’

I’m all jittery. They’re telling me 3-5 months.

I got the VIN from my dealer a couple weeks after order with an estimated ship date of 8/24 (D1 status). Asked today (8/14) about the status and everything is still on track for 8/24 ship. Dealer is saying to expect it mid September
