Afaik, currently no Granite paint and the previous 'standard' Rubicon wheels are now an $1,100 upcharge with the 4xe Rubicon wheels eventually becoming standard (not yet available). New paint of Reign (purple) and Earl (grey/blue) will be available later in the year. Nothing else new that I'm aware of yet.
Dam. That's a big upcharge just for wheels. I saw I photo of the new standard wheels though and if they are really it I actually like them better. Not sure if they were really it though. That being said with me being a huge Xtreme Recon fan I like the XR wheels the best out of all of them anyway.

I just saw 4:88 gears being offered on all models and most engine trims now as well. Which don't matter to me since I went XR and get 4:56s standard. I saw the 2 new late availability colors Reign and Earl as well. But that's to be expected. I do like the Reign. A Reign XR will be pretty cool.

I haven't seen any real changes such as design changes in the body or interior. Thats mainly what I was wondering about. ? Looks to be just options, colors and prices increases.

Super happy I went with my 2022 Gobi Xtreme Recon as it's one of my favorite colors that Jeep ever offered.

Well I placed my order and made my down payment on June 8th, but nothing yet from Jeep saying that they received and accepted it - no VIN yet. What I ordered:

2023 4-door Rubicon
Granite Gray
2.0 Turbo engine
XR 35” package
CW group
LED package
Tow package
3 piece hardtop
Trail camera

You may regret ordering the sill guards, grab handles and tub liner as those kinds of accessories seem to be a big hold up as far as production times
I questioned my salesman about ordering the extra Mopar mats and tub liner. I had asked that they be deleted from the order so as not to get held up in production and the manager called to verify availability and was told no current issues.

I personally like the current/previous Rubicon wheels the best, but the 4xe ones aren't bad. Kinda wish they'd just offer an all-black wheel for the Rubicon. XR's are great as well, but they've never been offered on the 2-door, so I just ignore them.

No idea, but it's certainly possible that there are other MY23 changes that haven't been divulged just yet (order banks are open, but don't believe that shows all standard features or photos of anything other than options).

Your '22 Gobi XR is gonna look great! I'm into greys/blacks, but Gobi's a good looking color, especially with tan leather. Guess I've grown hue-adverse, cause Earl is just too blueish for my liking. Reign's pretty cool, but I'm not pimp enough to pull something like that off ?

Any image of the new wheel? Or is it the old wheel just becoming standard with the machined outside being silver.

I didn't go tan leather but I went with the tan cloth. Never really was a fan of leather especially in an off road vehicle. I think the only vehicle I ever had leather in was my Chrysler 300 SRT.

I don't really look at Reign as a pimp color but more like a muscle car color. Any vehicle that's like a cool toy like performance/Muscle cars and Jeeps can pull off colors like that with ease.

It's nice to see Jeep bringing colors like Gobi and Reign to the table and keeping things fun and interesting.

Tan cloth will look good too! I've only ever had leather/vinyl once (in an old Saturn SL2) and really liked that it was easy enough to keep clean, especially for dirt/dust/mud, pet fur, spilled coffee, etc, and that's just a daily-driver concern for me.

And yeah, I didn't mean that the purple Reign color would be too pimp for a vehicle, just that I'm too old to pull of driving something like that. Hell, regular reds, blues and greens are too flashy for me these days. Still glad they're available for folks that like them though!

Thanks, I think my order went in 6/9 or 6/10. My salesman said it is in Jeep’s system but is listed in tentative schedule. No VIN. Thought you got the VIN as soon as the dealer submitted your order. Guess not. Can you post when you hear something from Jeep?

I haven't detected any 2023 builds yet and I'm thinking that nobody has reported receiving a 2023 VIN.

Well, I leased my first Jeep (2020 Willys, Punk’n) and that lease is coming up in November. I debated buying it and keeping it since I got in the lease right before the covid crisis. Because of that it’s worth more now than my negotiated purchase price, so I decided I’ll buy it and sell it, and upgrade to a Rubicon with all the things I regretted not buying the first time around. The 4.88 is a good bonus, having the regear built-in with factory warranty is great, and I’d have to spend an extra ~$20k on the Willys to bring it up to Rubicon spec and after all that not have warranty.

So, long story short - submitted my order to my dealer for a 2023 JLUR on 6/11.

Specs:
JLUR
3.6/manual
4.88
Hydro Blue
Satin Black Grill
Painted Fenders
Brown leather
Cold weather
Hard top
And they did force me to pay for the wheels which were standard in 2022, also interestingly, they required me to buy the tow package. Which is fine, I’d gone back and forth on buying it and it made that decision easy.

The tow package was required? That's weird, but I've never heard of anyone regretting that option.
