Anything over 35” tires would potentially have reliability issues on the axles. Sure they would last 10-20-30k miles, but car makers usually setup a car to last up to 100k miles. So, if 35”+ tires….a stronger set of axles. If Jeep upgrades the axles, maybe…but that would put the JLR’s over $65k!!!I wouldnt be surprised if there were a few changes to compete with Bronco. It doesnt take many upgrades on the current JL to completely outperform the new bronco. Jeep would be foolish not to do so imo. But 37s as an options? I really doubt it. 37s destroy MPG and can cause a bunch of issues regarding safety. Then theres gearing, axles, suspension components.
Nope.Yeah mine is a 392 though if that even matters. Did you do Sky One Touch?
Yes I know 3 weeks is a long wait right, first world problems..lolHope everyone get's their orders soon. My 392 has been stuck in D for two months. Here is the answer I got from the dealership today as I have been getting the same answer from Jeep Chat this whole time.

If you look in the 392 thread I said to not feel bad for me, but for my friend who placed this allocation and another one. He has been waiting since November 30, 2020 and is still waiting on his unit to be built.Yes I know 3 weeks is a long wait right, first world problems..lol
That is really crazy and doesn’t make since but atleast it looks like you got lucky and will have yours really quick. I edited my post I am not ordering until the 2022 model is released! If you look in the 392 thread I said to not feel bad for me, but for my friend who placed this allocation and another one. The point is that orders placed in November of 2020 have been sitting in D status for multiple months while others who placed orders in April already have their units sitting in their driveways. This isn't my issue, but more of an issue for my friend and others who have been waiting since November of 2020. Just shocking to me.
How long have you been waiting for your Jeep?
Yeah. I truly feel bad for those waiting almost a year to get theirs, but that's just the way the cookie crumbles sometimes. Indeed. I am very blessed to have snagged this allocation at MSRP and hopefully pick it up by the end of August. That is really crazy and doesn’t make since but atleast it looks like you got lucky and will have yours really quick. Going with the 2.0 Turbo 4, I want better mileage Since we plan on doing a lot of traveling in it!Yeah. Got it. Hopefully Jeep at least announces some news this month or next about 2022 models even if you can't place your order till Sept/Oct. You going with a 392 or different engine?
Makes sense. Hopefully some releases a tune for that engine with the e-torque. Could be a lot of fun. What are you wanting to see in 2022?Going with the 2.0 Turbo 4, I want better mileage Since we plan on doing a lot of traveling in it!
If it's like the 2021 2.0T it won't have e-torque. Will be interesting to see if they continue to play musical chairs with it in 2022.Makes sense. Hopefully some releases a tune for that engine with the e-torque. Could be a lot of fun. What are you wanting to see in 2022?
The turbo 4 doesn’t have e-torque just another reason I don’t want the V6. Yes looking for the tune by Livernois Motorsports by then also, but hopefully we see a couple of changes maybe the Uconnect 5 as a bonus but if not definitely want to see what a couple of the new colors will be before ordering.Makes sense. Weird. I thought it had it as well, but I never looked too much at the Turbo 4 and probably overlooked that. I like that blue color someone posted of the Pacifica. That was clean. The turbo 4 doesn’t have e-torque just another reason I don’t want the V6. It originally did have it back in 2018-2019 maybe 2020 and the V6 didn’t have it but then they swapped it and now the V6 has the e-torque and the turbo 4 doesn’t. I think they made that change in 2020 but for sure the 2021 models are this way. Yes I like that blue also I am just hoping they don’t kick off Snazzberry as that is my top color right now but my all time favorite color is called Anvil which I believe you could only get back in 2014-2015, also heard talk of them bringing back this color!!Weird.
