I'm waiting for the 2022 orders to open up. I'm excited to get my first wrangler, I'm currently driving a WJ. As much as I would like to put my order in now, a longer delay means more money down. Hopefully the inevitable price increase won't wipe that out.

I decided to look at prior year order guides release dates, which should correspond to the order dates.

2018 10/16/2017
2019 9/11/2018
2020 7/2/2019
2021 6/4/2020

The dates are all over the place. I wouldn't put too much stock in 2018 since it was the release date. In spring 2020, the Jeep plant was shut down as well and may have had an effect on the 2021 release date.
I posted this earlier in this thread, but September/October dates for opening up new model years are not out of the ordinary for Wranglers.

Sure it’s possible. When I see the order guide for June 2021 then that will be my confirmation.

It wouldn't be unreasonable for the '21 MY to extend longer for several reasons:

1. Between Covid and chip shortages, a lot of plants have been able to get maintenance done over the last year that would normally be done only during shutdowns between model years.

2. Auto makers have contracts with suppliers for a certain number of parts / parts per year / parts per MY etc. If a part is being discontinued for 2022 but FCA hasn't purchased enough in 20/21 then they could owe suppliers penalties (these types of contracts vary widely).

3. If the supply chain is starting to get flowing again, they may want to just build for awhile and get making money before throwing a MY disruption into the mix. Dealer stocks are very low and I'm sure dealers are clamoring to get vehicles on lots.

Makes sense. Just need that confirmation from an official source or document. Until then I’m not sure what direction I’m headed in.

Had another local dealership told me MY22 is expected on Monday as they have not heard that it’s been postponed. Nothing “offficial” but that’s 3 dealerships here in DFw that say they expect MY22 opening on Monday.

This is comical at this point. So many dealers saying so many different things. Come one Monday! Bring us some good news!!!

Was just told by sales person at Castle Rock Jeep in Colorado that they were told Monday in their sales meeting this morning! Fingers crossed that they bring back Nacho!
I know this still is not an official statement, but I’m hoping it’s true. Just two more days to at least see if this rumor comes to fruition.

When building the wagoneer, it comes with the uConnect 5. Could that mean the whole Jeep line up gets the next gen uConnect?
