Screams for tracadero or whatever its called!
I agree with almost everything that you are saying in this thread. It’s the same as those of us who don’t want power windows and locks to be standard features because we just don’t want them. Replace the words leather seats and painted fenders with power windows and locks in your statement and you should agree It just what you don’t want vs what we don’t want. My wife thinks leather seats should be standard on every car. Those are my main issues as well. I'd be paying extra for stuff I don't want.
It's the same as the local Jeep dealer has a 2 door Rubicon coming in stock but they optioned it out with hard top , cold weather package, technology group ect.. All stuff I don't want. And it's even Gecko green the color my daughter is begging me to get and is similar if not the same color as my Scat Pack Challenger.
But I won't pay the extra money for it. Not just because it's more money then I want to spend but it's because I literally don't want those options.
Same with the 392. I don't want all that expensive interior creature comforts. I just want the dam engine. And at a cheaper price.

I understood.I was being sarcastic...do I need to add an "LOL" to everything so it comes off as funny and not serious
I seen a few the last time I was home. Usually outside the city, but in affluent areas.Lol Florida in a nutshell. Yet to see a 392 drive around in Florida
Im in CFL and ive only seen a few 4XE's and no 392's driving around. Only two 392's that I saw at my local dealer dealership.I seen a few the last time I was home. Usually outside the city, but in affluent areas.
If I could build a 392 how I want it I would buy one. Not like I matter but I would. I didn’t want leather or the cruise control package with my rubicon but I wanted everything else. If I had an option to add the 392 engine I would have. They would still make a killing selling them. Probably more even by offering it with cloth seats and a lower trim for a cheaper price.
I actually think they purposely didn't make the lower trim an option in 2021 because they knew they wouldn't be able to keep up with the demand during the pandemic and chip shortage.
We have 3 4xe’s I see in my area pretty consistently. I still have not seen a 392 in the wild. I’m starting to see more and more ram txd’s though.Im in CFL and ive only seen a few 4XE's and no 392's driving around. Only two 392's that I saw at my local dealer dealership.
That's kinda the OP's thing. He does it all the time with his titles.Title of this thread had me thinking there was an exciting new calendar being offered by Jeep…
I just seen the 392 Jeep in my area driving yesterday for the first time. An older woman was driving it. Hydro blue. My daughter hates 4 door Jeeps but she thought it looked good even for a 4 door. I think it was the fact that it sits higher and the hood scoop and wheels added to the look. But man it's just so much money for what it is. Hopefully Jeep listens and throws us all a bone and gives us a more aforable version for 2022. ?Im in CFL and ive only seen a few 4XE's and no 392's driving around. I guess you missed the ? Mark. ?That's kinda the OP's thing. He does it all the time with his titles.
Jeep did this with the JK 10th Anniversary Rubicon. When it came out, all the tweaks they made to it were totally unique for that first year. People were going nuts for the custom hood, the modular steel bumper, the big Rubicon decals on the side and folks were making videos about how it was gonna be rare, only go up in value, and no other OEM Wrangler would ever be quite like it.Of course you do. It justifies the crazy money you just paid. The SRT 392 Challenger people felt the same way back in the day. Then the Hellcats came out and they fainted. And then the 392 Scat Packs came out and they really wanted to die! ?
The bottom line is if your buying a 392 Jeep for exclusivity you bought the wrong vehicle. You'll have your fun in the sun for a little while. Most likely during this pandemic. But I suspect soon there will be cheaper variations of the 392 Jeep. And don't be surprised if a Hellcat version is already in the works. Even if it's for the Gladiator platform.
Trust me I'm coming from the Challenger crew. We all went through this same thing. Always look to the past to predict the future!!
I would trade my 2020 JLUR in for that. Mine has everything in it minus ACC.For 2022 Jeep should offer a stripped down 392 Rubicon option with cloth seats and without all the expensive tech for $60k or less.
How awesome would that be? They would sell a boat load. How many of you would buy one? I'm pretty sure I would!!
Let's hope and pray They do!! Jeep are you listening?
Try the daytona area... lolLol Florida in a nutshell. Yet to see a 392 drive around in Florida
