Let me put it this way, if the factory offered a 2 door with the 392, then I would have one. The main thing is that whichever one that you have, you are happy with it!

You may consider it a compromise, for me, it was the difference between having a Wrangler or Not.

The 2 door simply wouldn’t meet my needs/uses. Sure I would Love to ALSO have a 2 door, although I keep trying, I haven’t won the lottery yet. For me, the 2 door would be a TOY, and as such, I have other ways of spending my disposable income, that I would get more Enjoyment from

Doug
Right you compromised on what you really wanted and got the 4 door ...

Started with 60hp and 27" tires too...pass on all 3.
A life of excess tends to lead to bloat and never being happy ... are you ok?

I have owned 2 2-doors and loved them but currently have the 4-door and I am a fan of the 4-door now. I love having the access to the back seat with the doors and not having to remove the back seat for trips. voted for both.

I'm very happy with my "excessive" 39s, the 285hp is sufficient but far from excessive. Now the 2dr crowd with no friends or even large pets, we should check on those guys...

You seem combative and angry friend.

Nope, that’s neither what I said or did, you’re putting words in my mouth.

If I had Wanted a 2 door more than a 4 door, I would have bought a 2 door, don’t confuse your preferences with those of myself or anyone else. I am Very Happy with what I bought, it is my Favorite Vehicle that I have ever owned, and being a 2 door wouldn’t make me Enjoy it any more, actually less because it wouldn’t be able to fulfill my uses as well as my 4 door does

Try it sometime

For Me, the 2 Door would have been a Compromise

I will likely never do the Rubicon, I’m sure that I would enjoy it, but it is so far down my list of things that I want to do in this lifetime, that I probably won’t get to some of the things on it a hundred lines above doing the Rubicon.

Why would I buy a vehicle based on what I am not likely to do, rather than one that I would Enjoy more, doing the things that I am likely to do, and enjoy doing more

The only reason that I can think of to do that, is to impress some dumbass on a Jeep forum, who I will in all likelihood never meet, and couldn’t give two shits what he thinks.

Nope Zero incentive to buy a 2 door there, but hey if YOU’RE HAPPY with your 2 Door, then that’s what it’s all about

Sounds like you would have been perfect for a Rav4, maybe even a white panel van with free candy on the side
