Fear of missing out on what may or may mot change with specs and packages. All I know is that they will likely become considerably more expensive (MSRP) in the coming months and the shipping charge will see a big jump too.

The only way a 2-dr makes any sense is if they brought back a 2-dr like the LJ which was stretched out. Looked proper and better proportioned too.

Even the discount dealers are going to no deposit now. They just need inventory so they don’t care if you walk.

Pull the trigger, you’ve got analysis paralysis, brother.
I definitely do. It's more about my money more then anything. Too afraid to spend it. And if I do it definitely has to be exactly what I want.

lol… too much delay… and it’s only 3” longer in wheelbase if I’m not mistake … LJ was like 12 or 18” longer

Yeah it's like 3 or 4 inches. Which is definitely a big difference IMO. The doors are longer too.

You gotta build it yourself. It’s part of the whole Jeep thing. If Jeep doesn’t do it, find the right parts or make them yourself.

Mine will likely have the rear seat removed and a Goose Gear platform installed at some point.

I learned when I started looking. Rubicon had some thing I wanted, but most of it I didn’t want to pay for. Could have, but didn’t want to. I’ll adress those as time goes on and things break. No rush, as I have fun when I drive it. Even when the guy in a 392 XR pulls along side and gives me a thumbs up.

I have to be honest though, I also have a pickup to drive, now the Jeep is just low stress fun, with no “need it now!” accessories. I don’t understand having to have one fully festooned with bolt ons on the fist day of ownership.

Just ask @cosine he knows!
Find one in stock to buy now. I see markups over sticker vanishing along with low gas prices . Right now the future is unknown. Just find a JLR and enjoy life a little. Your kids will love it.

2dr looks much more proper than any 4 dr, but that's just my o.

This thread literally hit the nail on the head for me as well. I'm comparing both of these as an option. Now, I'm a bit different with one small dog and a wife, but the comments have been particularly helpful.
