I already posted into this thread the POC from when I went into D1 and was assigned a target ship date of Feb 24. Unfortunately, a week later, I was back at D, but my POC from last Thursday still shows the Feb target shipping date.
Sorry and thanks, somehow I missed it. Assuming your still in 'D'...now we wait for a recent POC with a status further along then 'D'.

Just did my weekly Chat with Jeep Customer Care - only bit of information worth anything - was regarding scheduled 2 dr start dates - and I understand there is no accuracely to any of this sh*t:

Brittaney:I know that the two door jeeps are not scheduled for build until mid to late April, I would advised to chat back in then for an updated status

Never mind, he has been there since 2/9. Probably means nothing.

I've not communicated with Cr80108, but coincidentally, both our orders date from Jan 8/18 and we both went to D1 the same time and back to D within a week. We're both on the site tracking spreadsheet, and as of today, both sitting in D.

Didn't expect you to have seen it given the now over 800 posts in this thread. I remain back in D like everyone else and it continues to cost me money. The more I wait and read feedback from JLU owners, the more I've reconsidered my order and amended it to add options. You can do that in D without changing the VON, VIN or order date. I've added leather and LED lights after the fact and am now considering adding proximity keyless entry. The delay is all part of the FCA master plan to wring more money out of me.

Maybe I should try to forget about my order for a while - I retired a few months ago - better not add anything to mine. BTW, I think I saw a thread a while back showing the keyless fob in someone's hands - looked like they are really large - the wife's Overland's fob is not near as big.

Is that a key fob in your pocket or are your just happy to see me! Sorry, couldn't resist.

Yeah, it looks big. However, the fob is the same with or without the proximity option. If it's always going to be with me, I rather not fuss with pulling it and then pocketing it every time you enter and exit the vehicle.

thanks. I had missed the fobs are all same size...now I might need to reconsider while I wait.

Just opened my mail box and received my latest issue of outdoor magazine. The back cover is a full page advertisement for Jeep-showing the 2dr Red ruby. Just irritates me somehow.

Re-reading some 'old' reviews from when the JL was first announced to make me feel better about waiting.

https://jalopnik.com/the-2018-jeep-wrangler-didnt-get-soft-it-got-much-bett-1821160227

The new-for-2018 features read like the answer to so many Jeeper’s prayers: a leaned back rear seatback, a check strap stopping the doors from flopping around, a lowered spare tire and wiper motor for better visibility, improved fuel economy, a more advanced interior with better infotainment options as well as safety features like Blindspot Monitoring, vents in the fenders to stop the hood from buffeting, brighter headlights, a manual transmission shifter that doesn’t vibrate, a clutch without such enormous throws... and so many other small improvements.

Never before have I driven something whose incremental improvements over its predecessor made such a dramatic difference. The JK was already great; but based on my short time behind the wheel, the JL feels like a masterpiece.

Hope so!

This just in from my dealer:
- you are correct that the factory won't start 2dr builds till mid-April.
- the Rubicon will have the off road pages - they're in the dash cluster with your spedometer & tach.
- the Rubicon will also have the 2inch lift from factory.
