Why? its a dying company. People laugh when they hear Wrangler and talk about screens flashing off and on. You are in a bubble here...

Wrangler is iconic in looks, and fun offroad so it gets passes from the faithful. The rest of the lineup is very problematic and the reliability/repair cost are off the charts. IT was looking like they might go under, but they have a good seller in new jl, but that may not be enough

IF and I say IF they sell Wrangler to China all of us here may have got the LAST
best Wrangler made. I'm glad I bought now.

How are you guys doing with aftermarket parts for the 2 doors? Anyone find a good sunshade, reasonably priced mirrors for doorless driving or maybe a set of mudflaps fir a rubicon?

Exactly, I was told they have that guy there show up once a week to deal with those issues. A little odd to say the least for sure.

It is true, we have one that comes to our dealership as well.

I got red one-looks great in person and I think it will look good with the red Rubi accents.

Thats what happens typically when companies do it to save on cost, and they replace components for super cheap stuff, or if they push it over with no real plan or training.

Right now quality is rock bottom of industry, so lets not kid ourselves. A takeover if done right could save the brand, Fiat ownership is certainly unable to get it done

this shade seems to cost much less than the one JTops will offer...it's certainly less than their 4 door offer. Anyone that can offer a comparison or what one might get for the extra money???
I ordered with a hardtop because dual tops weren't available, but truth is that I'll pull the top off as soon as it gets here. Thus I need a screen of some sort.
Finally, anyone that might have ordered with a hardtop, but planning to purchase a soft top when available?? Are there any expectations as to when the PST's might catch up for production and be available for order? thanks,

Rick, please don't take this the wrong way; we all understand you want your Jeep. But posts like yours do nothing but just piss all the rest of us off! A lot of us have been waiting for 4 MONTHS or more and are still in D Status!
So, again, please understand where we are coming from when you don't get too much sympathy from this thread.
We are happy for you, though, in that your order is the way it is actually supposed to happen!! Good for you! Enjoy your Jeep whenever it gets here and stop worrying about how "long" it's going to take..... unless, of course, it takes 4 months! Lol!

I just got my build sheet for a 5/11 order. So built in less than 3 weeks from time of order. Jeep Chat has been consistently updating the progress, D1 the week following the order, framing last week, paint Tuesday, and the cyrptostickers email just now. Now, let's see how long it takes to inspect & ship but it appears the pace is moving faster. Hardtop order, no headliner or cargo kit so no danger zone parts.

I should add, not trying to add salt to the wounds just amazed at what I'm seeing after reading the wait times. I will believe it when I see it arrive.

Need to get planning the 20 hour drive home from Idaho. Stopping in Moab at least.
