Installed mine today. Attached are photos of the the mounts. Hope it helps.
These photos make me see I need to do better washing the underside.

Thank you
On the 2 Bolts that attach the rear skid.
Did you shim under the skid to even it out?Sorry hard to explain I can take a pic tomorrow
No shims are needed. It sits tight against the cross member and the other factory skids members sit on top of the new skid.

OK
So you have to drop that other factory rear skid and then bolt back up.
The lack of instructions are ridiculous
Thank You

I put the "bar" above the plate, take a look at the pictures in this thread as shows it clearly.

Yes it should look like this

I did mine like this as well. I suppose that small piece of the bar could get caught on something but at that point the bolt will as well. I felt like it would be better with the new skid being entirely flush. Doubt it matters much either way.

ASFIR Engine & Transfer case skid.

On the Transfer Case Skid on my Turbo. There is a support bracket for some cooling lines and it must be removed.I do not see the risk reward for the TC skid.It really does not appear to provide any more protection from factory that coupled with cooling lines not secured means this will be going back.Thank's to this thread I was able to get the skid plate installed but I would Not buy this again.Honestly I do not feel there is ample support securing the front brackets to the Jeep.We emailed Asfir and asked for detailed install instructions and they said "Unfortunately we do not have these."
Spend your money elsewhere!
The lack of instructions(There are None)from Asfir

You don't remove that plate, it is what the cooling lines for the lithium battery fasten onto.

The TC skid mounts directly onto those, using the doubler spacers. So it goes frame, cooling mount plate, ASFIR spaces, TC skid.

I appreciate all of your input.I will look at it again today.
The bolts did not appear to be long enough to accomplish that.

Anyone else get a tire cover with their Asfir shipment? Lol.

Wonder if I can use this for something else. The material is nice but even if it would fit my tire I wouldn't be using it for my tire.

Not only is your reply rude, but it also displays your ignorance. I have not attempted the install as yet, the product arrived just 2 days ago. But on my copy of the one page diagram, the photo was nearly all blacked out. All I said was that the instructions were lacking. For you to display such anger over an innocent statement on a forum like this, I reckon that your personal life is most likely suffering from the virus, better get tested.
How was it anger? You are the one who is venting on here over instructions where some kind forum member posted photos just a couple days ago in this same thread.

If you want to post over problems great - we all want to hear and help. But when the answers you seek you choose to ignore it becomes a waste of my time to read your post.

I am guessing the difference is mine is a 2 Door.It just will not fit. There is an extreme gap and the bolts will not reach.Even if they did the Skid would be at an extreme angle. Thanks for all of your assistance we will see what Asfir says.

Let me grab a picture later today, but that bracket you have the red arrows point to is very different in my 4 door. It contours the frame cross rail and then goes straight back, and is at a height that doesn't impact the lip on the TC skid.

you may be right it's a 2 door issue.
