I don’t see shock extensions with the traxda kit or extended shocks.

Keep that in mind prior to purchasing.

And yes I know it reads that you don’t need them.

Bummer that is says for Rubicon.... I wonder if it’s only for Rubicon?
Also, that price went up, right?
I’m pretty sure it will fit a rubicon because the kit is basically a chunk of metal that sits on top of the coils. Coils on JL wranglers are interchangeable.

I don’t see why it wouldn’t be for all models. Considering the coil springs are interchange among models. I will call tomorrow and ask though.

Agree that is a question I have for them tomorrow as well. Technically if it’s a mall crawler, it won’t matter.

I’m curious to hear what you learn. Thanks for calling them and asking, you rock.

I plan to get off road a bit. Nothing crazy, but don’t want to be blowing the shocks without appropriate extensions.

Per Traxda the 1.5/1 will work on any JL however they listed it for the Rubicon due to the lesser rake. They've listed the 2/1 for all models because they tend to have a greater rake on the non Rubicon models.

Also, they stated the 1.5/1 can run without shock extenders but are aware there could be issue under full articulation especially on non Rubicon models. They stated Rubicon models have longer shocks and the need for shock extenders would depend on the length of the factory spring (given the numerous combinations).

In my opinion for the $230 after discount, I could always add shock extenders later or longer shocks when they become more readily available.

You are right on the Mall Crawler

Just as a cautionary statement but you are getting very close to needing extended sway bar links or some kind of sway bar extension blocks at 1.5”.

Would you mind taking measurements before and after lift, to share the exact amount of lift achieved in the front and back?

Here are my measurements as of now. Stock suspension with stock wheels and 35 inch Khumo MTKL71s

I measured from the ground and straight up the center of the wheel/tire until I hit the flare. the "opening" is the space between the top of the tire and bottom of the flare.

Front ground to fender - 40.75 inches
Front tire to fender "opening" - 8 inches
Rear ground to fender - 40.25 inches
Rear tire to fender "opening" - 7.50 inches

Looks like I have 1/2 inch of rake so the 1.5/1 should be perfect.

Delivery is supposed to be tomorrow. I will measure the spacers and then measure the lift height once I get it on (I assume the lift height will be the spacer height but you never know)

As I mentioned, I will figure out how to post pictures when it's done. Hopefully the wife will help me LOL
