That’s what it was! Thanks for reminding me. I wrote daystar off because it was front only.

There’s the mammoth 2”/1” leveling spacer kit on the Extreme Terrain site - for JK only, though. I’d love something similar for JL.

I do also wonder how hard it is to make these. Something like 2-2.5” front and 1-1.75” rear spacer kit seems like a money maker, right?

I just spoke to Rough Country and they confirmed they will be rolling out a 1.5/1 inch spacer lift this summer. No firm ETA yet.

Thanks for the update! I think a 1" spacer with a Rubi take off suspension should be perfect

That's funny because I talked to RC about this yesterday around lunchtime too :) Yep they told me the same thing. "Yes we're going to make some rear spacers to match the front ones we already sell, but we don't know when." Not much help there! LOL

Daystar will have a 2/1.5 on the market in a week or two. We are getting close to the 1.5/1 lol. I think I may go for this one. Thought process being, I increase tire size by 2 inches and I’m increasing front by same. Should give me the same clearance as stock.....

I guess you’re right... right?

Stock tire on a non-Rubi is 255/70r18 which is 32”. Jumping up to a 35 is a 3” difference, and only the top 1/2 goes into the fender well so that’s a 1.5” difference.

Shouldn’t a 1.5” lift keep us at the same spacing as stock?

Can’t argue that logic.

For anyone interested in the Daystar 2” kit. Best price in on Autoplicity.com. $290. Same kit on quadratec for $390
Autoplicty drop ships for Daystar. Ships from manufacturer , most likely early-mid June.

Thank you for sharing this info!

I hate when manufacturers list their kits and specifically say they are leveling kits, but then only give one measurement for the lift.

If this levels, then the front is lifted more than the rear.

What does 2” mean? Is the front 2” and the rear is 1”? Or is the front 3” and the rear is 2”? Or is it averaged, with a 2.5” front and 1.5” rear? Or none of these?

Or is it not a leveling kit at all, and it’s just a 2” spacer kit?

Correction. Called Daystar. This does not level. 2” front and back. Sorry

I was planning to run the 1.5/1 Skyjacker but changed my mind because of the different spring rates, there was no guarantee of the lift amount I would get.

I’m planning on calling Traxda tomorrow to see if I can buy the 1 inch rear only. Then I can purchase the 1.5 inch Daystar front and run a true 1.5/1 spacer lift.

Please share back what you find out! Also also... post pics of course. Maybe I’ll end up with a Frankenstein spacer lift after all (with Daystar in the mix).
