Just installed Apex TSR hydro assist and now I have a big dead spot in the middle of my a steering that wasn't there before when running FOX ATS stabalizer. I'm not sure how the new apex ram could cause this though. I did have to remove and reinstall my whole steering box so maybe I screwed...
It was very intensive as I had to remove and reinstall steering box by myself in the driveway. Holy shit that thing is heavy. It kinda feels a little strange. Like I don't feel much of an improvement on road, but Im already running the Apex boost kit. Maybe I will feel it on the trail. I...
Here is the situation. 2024 JLURX 4xe. Love the jeep so far. Last week I had my doors off. Woke up in morning and there was dew on the seat. Jeep wouldnt start. JSCan revealed high-voltage errors. Had it towed to dealership and they told me battery was shorted due to water in the harness...
Just dropped off at dealer. He said he did two yesterday. Today he said the recall has been deleted from their system as of this morning and they are no longer allowed to perform it! Apparently is screwed some jeeps up even more! JFC this is insane. Hopefully this saves someone a trip.
Jeep guy called me today with this Pic. Says he only sees a few a year..from hard wheelers. What do you all think? This is the front Spicer 4.88 gears i had installed 20k miles ago before 18 BoH trails.
About to put 40s (up from 38s) on my stock Rubicon Dana 44 (2024). Here's what I've done so far. Is there ANYTHING else I can to strengthen it?
RCV shafts
Arctec Trusses and C gusset
ARB diff cover
Metalcloak Ballerjoints
Apex 2.5 ton Steering with flip kit
Putting control arms back on and I'm confused. Metalcloak said get 6 degree castor. The first image is with 2 degrees and 20in upper arms 24in lower and you see how my bump stops are aligned properly.
The 2nd images are with aparent 6 degrees caster and 21 in uppers but the bump stops are way...
Installing new rock sport reds after a 4.5" spring upgrade. The shock seems twisted at the bottom where it goes into the outboard mount. The mounts seemed twisted towards the front the the jeep but they are installed correctly. When the axle was dropped they were way off and I had to jack it...
My drag link end wont come off so I figured I'd take the Pittman arm off and have my machine shop press it out. I got the nut off the arm but the puller tools from auto zone won't fit in the stupidly tight space under the JL to pull the arm. No threads or you tube videos show me how to pull one...
I just installed the metalcloak front drop bracket. Upper arms are back to stock 20.25" and lowers at 24" I'm measuring from pinion. Will this change when I put wheels on? What other measurements should I take? Also do I put shock on before or after wheels? It seems like the lower outbound...
So I'm putting everything back together after getting trussed and the black plastic cover fell down on my passenger side rocksport and i see this! Could regular wheeling cause this bend? I guess ill be ordering some new Reds (the longer ones since I went to 4.5") springs and tell the wife...
I'm reinstalling my front axle after having it trussed. I also added the @Metalcloak front drop bracket. MC told me to put my lower control arms back to stock for this and their instructions for the gamechanger said stock is 24" eye to eye. These arms are 24" but it seems to move the axle...
So I have a metalcloak 3.5 game changer. Tomorrow I'm installing their "HD Proalignment" front drop bracket. The metal cloak guys told me to return my arms to stock length with this bracket. I pulled my lowers out and they are like 25.5" eye to eye. Stock is 24". Not sure why they were so...
Does anyone know of an aftermarket skid plate that will fit a 2024 Rubicon with factory steel bumper? I tried this one and it didn't fit (although website said it would)

So I was at my Jeep shop yesterday getting some work done and I saw this steering setup on a rig and said "I want that!".
It takes the stabalizer completely off the tie rod (which I hated) and mounts it to a bracket on the axle. Very cool and drives great! Don't mind my busted up stabalizer
