As an experiment, I was able to take home (overnight only) a Stock 2020 3.6L JLUR that I found had the wandering and steering issues and the steering wheel was not centered at speeds. I did not tell the sales person about it.

It did have the latest V41 recall applied.
Tires were at 46PSI, dropped to 36PSI

In my garage, I disconnected both negative terminals on the battery.
Put a piece of tape dead center on the steering wheel and adjusted the drag link coupler clockwise and counter clockwise until I saw my steering wheel was centered.

Re connect the negative battery terminals, cranked up and moved the steering wheel hard right until lock, hard left until lock and back to center.

Took it for a test drive at 65 and low and behold it drives straight, steering wheel is centered, no wandering at all.

You still may have to make small adjustments to the drag link coupler to get your steering wheel to be straight at speeds.

I have a brand new aftermarket Steering stabilizer that I swapped with the v41 recall one just to see if that made any changes.

None were found.

Put the OEM one back on and took it back to dealer and stated drives real nice but I am still looking around for the best deal.

I hope I did a favor to the person who will purchase this JLUR.

Both my 2018's had this issue after all recalls were done but steering wheel still was off not centered.

Applied this to both, test drove stock to make sure, then added Mopar lift and tires and only had to adjust the drag link again.

Does pulling the negative cables reset the electric assisted steering, adjusting the drag link somehow changes the 0 reference point and now it knows the new 0 reference point for steering assist?

I'll check tonight and report back. I have an appointment on Monday to take it back in. It's mindnumbingly frustrating talking to my service guy and listening to him pretend he's never heard of the issues I'm describing. It's only after I inform him of a Star Case (S1819000003) or recall that he 'remembers hearing something about that.' Brutal.
Albeit I’m a tad frustrated, not nearly what others are, I will admit my dealership has always been good to me. I say there’s play and they basically replace whatever I want without question. They aren’t anal about mods and just overall awesome. Any beef which isn’t much I have would be with FCA really and even then who cares at that point. I learned to live with issues not much of a complainer but eventually you do have to draw a line. Especially since my wife drives it with my children here and there.

I probably just got lucky but man, I am so glad I got the 2 door, even with the ridiculous issues with the seat release handle system I've had. My 2018 JL never experienced death wobble or steering issues, my 2019 JL same, tight steering and 0 death wobble, handles very very nice on the pavement.

My JL is at the dealer for a stupid warranty issue and they have me a 2019 JLU as a loaner. Man I can't wait to get my Jeep back. Steering on this thing is loose, I also experienced the first death wobble going 70 today after I hit a small bump on the freeway. Wind noise through the hardtop and noise from other vehicles in the highway is way higher than in my 2D even though both have headliners.

Maybe this loaner is a bad apple. But man, the 2D is a such better ride than this thing.

Just ask @cosine he knows!
Can't even imagine what that would be like.
I could drive w/ a finger on the wheel prior to the V41, and can pretty much drive hands-off now, steers perfect IME. Will be installing Rubicon lift this weekend along w/ Longer Mopar LCAs so it should continue steering like it's on rails :)

Has anyone compared the updated V41-fix dampers to an aftermarket steering stabilizer like the Fox 2.0?

Sorry for the crap photo, but I took it in a downpour with 50 mph winds (bad storm ripped through the area last night). The picture is looking up from the ground.

Mark, hard to tell by that pic, easier if you look at it straight on, there will be a bulge on the bottom and not on the top, It does look like it could be upside down though.

Yep the 'front of vehicle' sticker pointing to the back says it all. Zero shits given. Jeep needs to be made aware that for every job installed incorrectly they're potentially dishing out death wobble rather than preventing it.

And a bad experience like that can turn off a buyer from the brand entirely.
I'm fine with problems as long as they're addressed properly.
Thank heavens for Vehicle forums!

Sorry to hear that OP :(
My V41 was installed correctly, steering was just fine prior but seems even tighter now, so for me it was a good swap :)
