Dual top - space question

About to pick up this weekend. How much space is in the back w the large box...any? Any pics?

Pretty much none. Back seats will be folded down. It is in there very tight. There’s a little room on top of the box though

Scott, speaking of boxes, do save the extremely large box INSIDE the yet bigger humongous box that occupies that entire space from behind the back seats to the tailgate that houses all the parts of your soft top.

It holds the soft windows and comes in useful to store the windows during the colder months. It's very long and tall but narrow.

I test drove one with the soft top stuffed in the back while in the box. I couldn't move the driver seat back and had to force the tailgate closed.

Hope you're not too tall. I'm 6'2" and I had to move the seat up a little. Not awful but I wouldn't want to drive for hours and hours like that.

When I picked my Jeep up , we simply took the soft top and all the accessories out of the huge box and left it behind. Gave me alot more room.

Get some ratcheting straps and strap it to the hard top. Also, maybe some plastic or a tarp in case it rains ('cause it will if you don't).

Were you able to fold up the 2nd row?

No , still had the back seats folded. Leaving that huge box behind ,plus the spacer box made for a lot more room. I had a 3 hour ride home and I didnt have to have the driver seat forward.
