Dude read my post one more time. The response you got is not true, YOU DONT NEED TO BUY A NEW SET OF LIGHTS OR BREAK OPEN THE HEADLIGHT FOR THAT MATTER.

All you need to do is add the missing 4th pin to the existing plug you have and wire it to the BCM and have your dealer activate the code for you simple as that.

Im from Saudi and have already done that so dont listen to the local agent/dealer BS
Hi,
Can you please clarify what you did to get it to work?

So all you did was add a 4th pin to the connector?

So I assume the halo female pin in already there or did you have to do anything else to get it to work?

If that’s the case then all I have to do is import the USA wire harness?

This might help. These are the instructions from the US kit. They show where the wires go. You don’t need a specific harness. You can either hook them up to a 12v circuit that is always on or flash the BCM with the sales code or use a Tazer JL(what I have done so far). Elsewhere in another thread someone documented how to do this before the kit was made.https://www.quadratec.com/sites/default/files/installation_instructions/2019_06_27_13_24_35.pdf

This is what I have been told by the dealer; and i have an image "below" shared by user form EU market that shows the 4th PIN missing in the light itself; but I am will try removing the light housing sometime next week and have a look myself.

Yes finally !!

The picture we all wanted to see ! , so that is our problem.

I suspect if that pin is missing , nothing goes to the halo, maybe even the halo itself is not real , ie not LED just ‘fake’

Would be great if you could confirm, thank you

I have the LED package from the factory and the halos never worked and I thought that the halo was just for looks and wasnt real. Now, after I read the thread I posted up top I checked my headlight and lo and behold the 4th pin IS THERE so I searched for the add-on harness that comes with the Mopar LED light upgrade (factory kit that allows you to upgrade to LEDs) part #82215136AD and could not find the harness by itself so I made my own and connected the power signal to my fender lights.

The export lights only have 3 pins. So what you’re saying is you added a 4th pin to the light connector and powered it by making your own harness and powering it by fender lights? Or did your lights already come with the 4th pin?

My lights came with the 4th pin but the harness pigtail had only 3 so I added the 4th and wired it to the fender light as the dealer over here has a difficult time comprehending instruction manual :headbang:. They even insist on putting 5.7 L of oil in the new engines even though the manual says 5 L only :swear:

Just got back from the dealer, and the halos are now working on my 2018 Sport S. This was the fourth time I have taken it in. Once for the install, and the third time I went in to see if they could fix the halos. I have the dealer the advice from the forum to check the VIN code, as well as the wiring. The dealer basically ignored it. Turns out, it was the wiring. Exactly as has been described in the forum umpteen times. The text documentation is correct, the diagram is off.

I am looking for a better dealer. At least the halos are working!

I have the same problem, I got a european Sahara JL2dr, halorings not working, only 3 pin version.

So we need answers on two questions:

1. Are the rings inside the european LED headlights real LED halorings, or is it only a fake?
2. If the rings are real - can we activate them with adding a pin and using a 12v positive wire? Maybe connected to the DRL fender lights, or to an AUX-switch? That will be the best solution, without needing to open the headlight....

so my findings;

I don't have the 4th pin in the lamp housing socket or in the short harness.

I can't see an easy way to remove the socket without more research.

these are my pics for reference;
