Using the halos or not, I still needed a dealer flash. I only had 1 High beam until the flash. Either way you do not have to wire up the halos.
If you want an easier way to run the halos though...and don't want to deal with the trouble of running them to the bcm, you can wire them to the fuse box (aux cig lighter) user EgGreg
sells the harness

Thats unfortunate, I was hoping to get out of going to the dealer to get the BCM flashed. Im not worried about running the wiring for the halos, I just dont care about DRLs.

Pulled the ps seat and did the wiring today. Flipped the tazer a half dozen times and no halos for now but I'll keep fuckin around with it.

Good fucking God though... Getting that connector unplugged and plugged back in was a huge pain in the ass. Getting the wires pushed into the connector was annoying too. Had to use a tiny flathead screwdriver as a lever through the connector holes to get them seated.

Getting the connector plugged back in was nearly impossible. Maybe my hands are too big. They're skinny but I just couldn't get the right angle. I ended up using a longer flathead screwdriver slid up into the back of the little connector shield so I could get it lined up and press it into the BCM.

If anyone is doing this try the screwdriver method and it will probably save you an hour.

Oh yeah, make sure to put the seat back in before you start the car because there's an airbag in the seat and the car will flip the fuck out and set a SERVICE AIRBAG SYSTEM code.

Unplug the battery again and it will reset it.

Anyway. Done with the hard part right as the temp hit 100*.

Got it working. Set up a camera so I could see it flicker on and off while I messed with the settings.

When turning it on and the tazer said TRY AGAIN that seemed to be the way to get it to stick.

They're on and all is good.

I had to program the Tazer JL Headlight setting exactly 7 times before the Halo came on and stayed - I was counting. I don't know what the deal is, but it has been perfect for a month since.

LOL, I feel your pain...literally, as my hand is bruised and cut from messing with that damn plug.

In hindsight, I would have completed all of the installation steps, then had the dealer do the BCM crap during my next oil change.

Have a chance to buy a set of Mopar led for 550. Should I get them and how hard is it to install?

Take offs or new?

Bam wholesale has the LED kit for 680 and it comes with the wire you need for non LED Jeeps. If it's the kit for 550, go for it, take offs, I'd pass.

Install is easy, read the thread for details.

Well after some digging this pretty much proves the export LED’s don’t have the halo nor the capability to support them. He is from the UAE.

https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/forum/threads/oracle-halo-on-mopar-led-headlights.30971/

It seems like he took apart the light assembly to put in the oracle halo lights (Which are built to replace the OEM halos I believe) If it were the US model then it would have worked perfectly. Also he states that there is no hardware for the halo within the light housing.

I would have thought to cut costs FCA would have used the same light assembly but removed a pin and wire from the harness, but it appears that is not the case.

You will have to import a set of US headlights if you want the original halo look which will cost you as you have to pay international shipping and import duty. Also you will have to probably buy a Tazer JL to activate them unless your dealer is willing to flash. Probably looking at like ÂŁ1000-1400 in total.

Thanks Fhammadi,

This is what I have been told by the dealer, and I have an image "below" shared by user form EU market that shows the 4th PIN missing in the light itself, but I am will try removing the light housing sometime next week and have a look myself.

EU and US connector.webp

Hi,

As promised, I took my LED Light out and checked light housing and the harness both are without the 4th PIN. Which means that I will need to buy a new LED light kit (if I want to have the Halo light working). As of now, I am not interested in spending an additional 1000 USD to change the light.

Here are the photos I took of the light and harness.

Hey guys, newbie on here and the last few weeks Ive had to defer to better minds as I’m new to the wrangler world and had never heard of a Tazer until 2 days ago when I ordered it. Anyway, happy to finally make a contribution... the Tazer JL does work on turning the Halos on a 2019 wrangler. I followed the steps and toggled halos on and off over and over again to no avail. Here’s what did it- set LED HEADS to NO, go back and toggle HALO En to YES. Toggle a couple times if need be. You’ll see them pop on immediately- no need to reboot. Go back and set LED HEADS to YES, Reboot and you’ll be good to go.
YES THIS^^^^^

I've read through this thread several times, and I thought I read this post but couldn't find it skimming through. Started to read from the start again and have read every post to this one. Thanks jhm11n!!

He's absolutely right, i knew I hooked everything up correctly, just couldn't get the Halo's to work. In the Tazer program I toggled on/off a hundred times...but...i had already activated the LED headlights. Bad move. I turned off the LED headlights and the Halo function, soft reboot (for fun) then toggled the the Halo on/off a bunch of times. The Halo's flashed a few times but turned off again. If this happens to you, keep toggling. Eventually, they will turn on and stay on. After that, I turned on the LED headlights and all is good in the LED world. (for now anyway).

Thanks, again, jhm119! Also thanks to the OP, great thread! (even though it's been hijacked a couple times)

I took some pictures of the pin installs and the BCM issues people are having problems with, I will try to post later.

Hint: for the BCM, remove the two 10mm nuts at the bottom of the white BCM board and it will slide down and you can reach all the connectors, no need to shove your hand up there to get to the C1 (A) connector..

So I've got these installed at the dealership (NIELSEN DODGE CHRYSLER JEEP RAM). They claim these are fakes, non-MOPAR lights.

Halos don't work and the dealer refuses to take action. Any suggestions?

More details, as this makes no sense. Why did the dealer install the lights if they thought the lights were fake? Did the dealer install the mopar kit? Where did you source the kit?
There are two issues that prevent these lights from working, provided they are installed with the directions in the mopar kit. The mopar kit number is: 82215136AD
1) The dealer did not add the sales code for LED headlights to the VIN. The steps are clearly and completely documented in the instructions for the kit. The instructions for the kit are available on line. Go to the kit number on Quadratec.
2) The documentation for the additional wires is incorrect. If you follow the diagram, it will be wired wrong. If you wire according to the descriptive text, the wiring will be done correctly.

In my case, the dealer ignored me when I told them of #2 several times. They finally figured it out on their own.

I've got the kit from BAM Wholesale.

The dealer has added the sales code LPX for my VIN this morning remotely - I didn't notice any changes on the first start.

So I guess I will be bringing it back to fix the wiring - can you indicate the page or the step of the manual with incorrect diagram so that I can highlight it?
