Just pissed you old farts off who are all "It's not a Wrangler without 7 slots" and "Omfg, I hateeeeee angry faces..burn them all" Good thing I pay the note on this bad boy so I can do what I want. Will drop the grill off to get painted to match the truck Monday. Hopefully once it's painted, it'll get rid of some of that light reflecting off the matte surface. Either way, I'm fine with it.

That’s hardly a design flaw. These things happen when you take them off of the pavement. However, those scratches are so small that you could easily buff them out. There are numerous videos on YouTube on how to get fine scratches out. She’ll be looking like new in no time.
It was just odd to me as when I owned my JK I didn't have nearly the issue. I did some reading around and read a lot of people stating the K02s create a lot of this issues. Just was very noticeable. They did buff out for the most part.

Mudflaps...
I have thought about those. Just not sold on them. I do like some of the rock skins that attach below the doors on the market. Just not sure of the installation process (never used nutserts).

Anyone know if there are faux sensor plugs? I have the same bumper but I dont have the sensors and there are just holes in my bumper. Be great to cover them up.
Try Ace hardware or True value. They will have plastic plugs of various sizes.

Added stubby steel bumper today.
I really wanted to get a Rubicon, but they didn’t have the one I liked. Just get a Sport or Sahara they say, and build it up step by step.

So now $10K later, I’m one step closer to a Moab.

Am I the only person that thinks the angry bird look has completely played out to the point of being comical? I know this might make some members angry or hurt, but I can't even jeep wave to these abominations.
No....:)

I bought 3M clear paint protector "skin" thats 6in wide. Gonna see about lining the bottom portions of the doors with it. Strategic places like the factory skins

I don't have quite the hate that some do for them. I'm not a fan, but there are plenty of mods I've seen on Jeeps (and other vehicles for that matter) that I really don't like.

I guess that's what makes Jeeping so much fun and unique. There are tons of things in this thread I wouldn't be caught dead doing, I just decide to move along and not comment. The rig in question IS NOT one of them.
