I finished my top lift project.
Been working on it a little every day while awaiting the Harken kit to arrive

Got all the stuff yesterday and got the hardware done so today all I had to do was fit the
straps, unbolt the top and hope for the best. Part of the process meant replacing the lights in the garage. The old bulbs would have been to close to the raised top and would have caused paint discoloring from the heat. Added 3 new LED fixtures instead of the 2 bulbs WOW, what a difference in light.

Everything worked great and I’m very pleased with the results. Too bad it’s cold and rainy today and the rest of the week.
I think I still need a power ratchet to take out the torx screws.

Anyone know if there are faux sensor plugs? I have the same bumper but I dont have the sensors and there are just holes in my bumper. Be great to cover them up.

If you call Smittybilt, they will send you the plugs.

Just pissed you old farts off who are all "It's not a Wrangler without 7 slots" and "Omfg, I hateeeeee angry faces..burn them all" Good thing I pay the note on this bad boy so I can do what I want. Will drop the grill off to get painted to match the truck Monday. Hopefully once it's painted, it'll get rid of some of that light reflecting off the matte surface. Either way, I'm fine with it.

Really tried my best to take a passable photo for you at night(looks way better in person), my phone camera doesn’t have the dynamic range/sensitivity to capture both the Jeep and the headlights. Haven’t had the time to take photo of my Jeep during the day yet, as I don’t drive to work and leave early in the day. I will take some over the next few days and show you better photos.

Just added steel front bumper to Sahara. Looks much nicer than plastic.

Where did you get the steel bumper? I’m wanting to do the same thing and checking prices. Did you do the install yourself? If so, any problems along the way?

Thank you. Mopar beadlocks. I just have the trim ring not the true beadlock ring as I don't see me every needing it. Maybe one day. Yes I powder coated them. Getting ready to powder coat them again in a candy color. Just waiting on the painter to get caught up.
