Installed an EAG stubby bumper with integrated HiLift jack holder, winch, 14800LM aux lights, factory fogs with LED bulbs and the Mopar running boards.

Still saving up for my 3.5"-4" lift, beadlocks, and 37" Nittos.

BTW, the bumper I got for free from the valet company that dented my factory plastic sport bumper. They told me to order what I wanted. Nice.
Well, I got the Stage 1, 3.5” Pro comp lift, but 35” Nitto Ridge Grapplers... can’t wait to scrape it up...

Put on my black decals over Jeep emblem and the stingray edition ones from @pixeldecals. Am so pleased with how it turned out!

Also installed my @AlienSunshade and looks great! Just followed the instructions on YouTube (hi Andrew!) and took less than an hour. Looks so good!

One day I'll stop being lazy and learn how to embed pics but right now it's time to grill and watch GoT.

I just got this on Thursday and am loving it completely. I love the wheels and height already; looking for advice on what to add or change first... any ideas?
Looks great! I start with locking hood latches or hood lock. Locking gas cap with same key. Then buy some foam strips to tuck between your fenders and body before you get a ton of little rocks stuck in between.

You might consider looking at step or rail options also to make getting in and out easier. Some designs will help protect the rear fenders and door hinges from being sandblasted because the front K02s will kick up a lot of debris. I'd consider some Paint Protection Film for the rear door hinges for sure.

Ive done a few upgrades.

Last week i did the front smittybilt xrc bumper and x20 winch.

This weekend i did....

1. XRC rear bumper
2. DIY license plate relocation and LEDs
- Wired the rear bumper LEDs to the license plate connection
3. Red shackles - front and rear
4. Rubber mat (might have mentioned this one already)
5. Pro Comp 17x9s

Installed the @JTopsUSA sun shade. I was driveing 65 MPH+ without any concerns. I think the manufacturer says 90mph rated.

Very nice product 100% recommend.

Test run on the Mopar window storage. Fits and finish is excellent at 65mph also.

Top was down going to the store and on the way home the bottom fell out of the clouds. First time Jeep owner second time top and windows off.

That was fun!

That cover is just too big. I removed it myself. Its just a velcro closure. I put the sheath in my recovery bag in case I need it. I don't believe its needed except to protect the rope when the rope is attached to another vehicle/structure and rubbing against the other vehicle in some "rope damaging" way. But for most trips I have been on, Winch goes directly to a direct access point (bumper mount) where the rope/cable never is bound up against anything.

I think that is sort of why its loose on the rope, so you can position where its needed along the "pull" to protect from rope abrasion. By locking it to the "end" (granted with just a zip tie) you lose that flexibility.

This is just my uneducated assessment. Anyone, please tell me why I am crazy and need to put the sheath back on?

Good points. I am a bit unclear on it's purpose as well.. At first I thought maybe it was to help shield the rope from direct sunlight, to prevent UV from causing sun damage. I suspect it may get removed once I start using it. I have not used a winch very many times, and when I did it was always a straight pull

And I'm hard pressed to imagine scenarios where I'd want to let the rope come in contact with anything (except a snatch block) while actually making a pull.
Is that working out for ya? I got the same Winch as you, and I think the 90 foot rope is just too much for it with the rope sheath on there. I took mine off because it got caught up in there and was a PITA to get it all back out. I am keeping it in my gear bag should I ever need it.
I’m having the same realization. I think I’ll take it off and stow it with the other winch accessories. In my recovery kit.

I bought the license plate mount kit in the photo. And used some L brackets from home depot. I had to drill the holes on the L bracket just slightly bigger than they came to fit the XRC bolt.

I also had to cut out the top mounting holes to fit the LED lights because the license plate holder is thick and the LED bolt isnt long enough. Works for now until i can find a thinner license plate mount. Or an LED with longer bolt.

https://www.amazon.com/VPWare-Unive...942&s=gateway&sprefix=license+plate+m&sr=8-11

Since the mount has long slots you can place the L brackets wherever you like to position the frame while using the 2 outer screws on the XRC plate.

Im still playing with it though. I think Ill try and modify the L brackets and shorten them to the license plate sits back closer to the body.

I then took the old license plate light connect and cut the end with the plug still intact and about 6in of wire. Spliced the License Plate LEDs and the bumper LEDs (had to cut the connection on those as well) together and plugged it all back into the OE license plate plug. So everything turns on as normal, at night when auto lights turn on.
