Bestop JL Soft Top - Help Us Decide

They said in the video the trek nx top will be released early next year. So maybe next summer!

Yeah, I’m bummed that their “flagship” product still isn’t out. No soft top for me this summer Hoping the NX Glide is out next spring.

Still Nothing. If they do have exclusivity contract with Mopar, then I wouldn't count on cheaper prices when and if they do offer something. I'm usually a pessimist, but this leaves the roads wide OPEN for other top makers. If only they'd realize the opportunity.
There is NO WAY, it is that hard to clone the JK production process and tweak to JL.

Damn, I wish I was in the Manufacturing biz, if I'm right, not saying I am, more frustrated than right, this could be the end of an era for Bestop ...

UPDATE: Quadratech has pre-orders that ship Dec 24 for Frameless.

Not sure what update you are looking for, The Sunrider for Hardtop ships this month and the Trektop NX is set for December / January timeframe - no solid ship date has been set. We have other products coming out as well, but that is the list as far as full soft tops go currently.

As far ask modifying the JK tops to fit a JL, it is a complete rework and testing of products. In addition, we are always looking to upgrade and improve products, our JL tops are no exception.

I am confused, I just spoke to Bestop and Trektop NX (which is NOT a convertible) will not be released until next Spring, and there is no estimate at all for the Glide which is the convertible. So it sounds like if anyone in interested in convertible soft top that you either buy OEM or wait till 2020. One would think that since this is their core business they would be more proactive.

Just contacted Quadratec who I pre ordered the trek top with back in September. Originally they said it was shipping in December then that moved to January 28th now as of today they said bestop now pushed it to the end of February. So much for a soft top for this Jeep!
