Chat just told me the 31st is now the beginning of the delivery window. It seems to all of a sudden be getting worse, at least with the chat. Weird.

My window has moved back too. Was all set to see it this week...damn

Today is more fun though...we find out the sex of our first baby!

My 17 ( I know different animal) is a soft top only, it has the rear defrost button. It lights up but obviously doesn't do anything.

does it defrost the mirrors?

Damn if its 10 or 12 weeks that is screwed up. Found out one of the local dealers (not the one i ordered from had one that just got there Saturday night, same color I ordered just not paint matched fenders. I'l go pic that one up before I wait 10 12 weeks. The hell with that

Well, that makes guessing at tracking very interesting, because my Jeep was never in D1. Moved to E today without ever being in D1 either here or chat. Now this is interesting. I will get a call sometime this coming week about a Rubicon that I get first chance on nearby, or wait for mine. Hmmm..... Now I need to do some research on how long it has been lately for E to delivery.....Just when I had given up..... Does anyone now from watching lately the time from E to shipping?

I want to say that I appreciate everything that @JAY and @JLWF Dealer Guy do for all of us in this forum. I know for those of us that didn’t make the cutoff for tracking, of course we want to be put on that list. However, I know that we have to wait our turn and should do so patiently because these guys are doing so much for us, for little in return. I will say that the written word can be misinterpreted. I believe that nerves are a bit frayed and people are anxiously awaiting updates and that may lead to misconstrued feelings. So, lighten up people and give praise to those two guys that do so much for us.

I don't think you'll be waiting too long. I think a big wave of these things will begin arriving all at once, very shortly. Besides, being on the list doesn't speed it up any. It has just kept me glued to this great forum every chance I get!

Jeez, Jay. I mean, with the high subscription fee you're charging everybody to be members on this site, I'd expect you to kiss everybody's ass a LOT more than you are. It's pretty clear that Jeep4Life isn't getting her money's worth around here.

Oh wait. I just remembered this site is free, and you really don't have to do any of this for us, and definitely shouldn't have to put up with whiny $hit like this.

I check today, but if it does it would be from the normal heat vent system.

I will only get a Wrangler with stick. Jeep with manual should be a common thing, even in 2018. They simply don't exist on dealer lots anymore, you have to custom order (or be preprared to pay over sticker if you can even find one, let alone it being the model, color, package you want) -- for what it's worth I was quoted 4-6 weeks (prob wishful thinking) although I have no way of verifying any of it until I can get my order tracked. Dealer gives a weekly update which is just that it is pending.

I too ordered a manual without being able to test drive one because they aren’t on the lots. I was also quoted a 4-6 week timeline. Seems that 10-12 is more accurate.
