Auto. With the Ohio weather in the winter I wanted remote start for sure. It drives and shifts great. Maneuvered around in about 4 inches of snow on the untreated roads with out 4wd. It rides very smooth. Spring can't get here soon enough to take the tops off.

Amazing! I got almost everything the same in my build.... but with soft top. It looks aawesome!

I started this same idea in another thread but wanted to put it here in more detail. I wonder if those of us that ordered soft tops only are delayed because of the setup between the hard top and non hard top Jeeps on the line. We know soft tops are shipping because dual tops are out and about so thats not it.

If you dont order a hard top, then your dash (or at least steering column at a minimum) configuration are different. No rear wiper switch, no rear defrost switch, no rear washer control. Then you also have the wiring for the hard top that most likely does not get ran to a non hard top Jeep. A separate rear washer bottle in the engine bay (assuming they dont feed from the main washer bottle, i dont know how the JK was set up since I never had a hard top).

Unless I am wrong and non hard tops get all of this stuff default anyways because Jeep makes them all the same regardless of top selection.....Just thoughts while waiting to go D1 lol.

Very curious to find out if a soft top only jeep comes pre wired for a hard top, given the customer might buy a hard top later on.

I believe that I would turn VOTS back on especially in this day and age so one click everyone knows where there jeep is in the production line and then you can list what that means and an approx to the next step. I wonder if there hiring there I can always use another job

My 17 ( I know different animal) is a soft top only, it has the rear defrost button. It lights up but obviously doesn't do anything.

Thanks for the love everyone! I spoke with my dealer yesterday and it hasn't hit the lot yet. I assume it's close though - maybe @JAY 's "delivered" status means unloaded at the rail yard or put on a transport truck. Not sure but definitely keeping an eye out.

It is not Trailer Tow package holding things up. There are plenty delivered with that package. Still no soft top only in the Build process. Though some dual tops in KZ (soft top in a box).
So no explanation for our orders from October with hard/dual tops that are still in D. Come on, Jeep. Show some love!

I thought maybe it was the Tow package, what about Cold Weather package, are those delivered? Trying to think what I ordered that may not be delivered yet. Very annoyed that my dealer just got in my exact configuration, minus the Cold Weather Package (which I will not live without) and their jeep has Selec-Trac (which was not even available to order till a few weeks ago).

Well then everything I have ordered is already being built....... except my whole car haha. Actually not haha........ sigh..... I just hope it actually GETS BUILT!!!!!
