ORDER TRACKING for your Jeep Wrangler

My last 2 events were last night at 11:04pm, "Ingate/ Rebay at facility", then, at 11:13pm, it was "Gate Out". What exactly do those events mean? I would assume gate out means it is on a truck and it left the gate, or is it sittng at a gate out lot and waiting to be put on a truck?

Everything seems odd with how FCA prioritizes vehicle builds. Of the 53 that are in D1, more than half (34) are December orders. Those that ordered in October and November are outnumbered by the December orders, I didn't look at those that are in D, but I know that there are still many oct/nov orders still waiting to get to D1. They must have a lottery system and just randomly pick vins to build. I have never been good at lotteries.....darn it! But according to Jeep Chat my jeep will be delivered to dealer tomorrow, I am holding on to that pipe dream until Tuesday!

That would be interesting to know. My dealer POC showed Shipping ETA of 1/16, so if I show up in D1 on Jay’s list Tuesday, that will be another data point. It will be interesting to see what happens. It’s hard to know what to believe. It would be cool, though, if yours already shipped. But I would think the dealer’s systems would show that.

I have not spoken to my dealer since Jeep chat told me it shipped so I do not know, going to reach out to him tomorrow.

I would think gate out is when it actually left the assembly line and went to the staging lot for pickup, I have no facts to back that up honestly.

Chat just told me the 31st is now the beginning of the delivery window. It seems to all of a sudden be getting worse, at least with the chat. Weird.

I know the spreadsheet and other sources of tracking info are typically not in sync.

I have been in D1 for 4 days now, according to Jeep customer service.

And I am still not showing up on the spreadsheet under D1.

Because I think that statement just hurt my feelings a little bit. I'm sorry I'm so needy as to ask an estimation...for example...you could've replied...we plan on opening up the list when 50 jeeps have been confirmed delivered...etc, but instead I get talked to like a child. So I am apologizing yet again for being a bother to you and this forum.

Which part of my response did I seem pissed off or talked to you like a child? I said we are playing it by ear which by definition means I can't give you a specific number like "when 50 jeeps have been confirmed delivered." I'm sorry that's not precise enough for you, but I can tell you that responses like yours don't exactly help motivate people from whom you are seeking assistance and it doesn't change our plans to pace ourselves so we can give everyone on the list timely updates.

You’re going to drive yourself mad if you are already obsessing over this at D1. Hopefully it will start moving faster but I was in D1 for a month. My advice is don’t worry too much yet (easier said than done) . Now that I’m KZ it’s much worse

I just have my fingers crossed that things are moving smoother now than before.

I ordered on 12/28. Hit D status on 1/2. Hit D1 status on 1/10.

That moving quicker than they have in the past few months?

Jeez, Jay. I mean, with the high subscription fee you're charging everybody to be members on this site, I'd expect you to kiss everybody's ass a LOT more than you are. It's pretty clear that Jeep4Life isn't getting her money's worth around here.

Oh wait. I just remembered this site is free, and you really don't have to do any of this for us, and definitely shouldn't have to put up with whiny $hit like this.

Well, that makes guessing at tracking very interesting, because my Jeep was never in D1. Moved to E today without ever being in D1 either here or chat. Now this is interesting. I will get a call sometime this coming week about a Rubicon that I get first chance on nearby, or wait for mine. Hmmm..... Now I need to do some research on how long it has been lately for E to delivery.....Just when I had given up..... Does anyone now from watching lately the time from E to shipping?
