Im heading to pick up my Rubi this week. We have all been there in the past year or so. What is the priority list of things to do to/for your Jeep? Not wheels, tires, lift, tint, etc.... I’ve heard some talk about protective film to cover fenders to avoid rock chips. Purchase certain tools that you will definitely need? What did you do to yours or wish you would have to yours before all the “big stuff” starts?

Thought this might be a helpful thread to so many of us just now getting ours delivered. TYIA

My first mod was removing end caps off the steel front bumpers. No functional reason to do it unless you have big tires, but its free and looks hella cool!

Hate to sound like a broken record, but it depends on what you planning on doing with it. If youre going to wheel it, even moderately for now, get seat covers. I'm assuming it has rubber mats already? I dont have a Rubicon so I dont know if those are standard or not. Get rubber mats and rear cargo rubber mat.

Following! I've had mine for less than a week and so far have ordered
- Trail Management System for back
- TopLiftPro hard top lift

On X-mas list
- cargo management tray
- Telescopic Cargo Rail Divider
- Spare tire cover
- black door sill guards
- grab handles
- smaller antenna

First real mod planning on exhaust, leaning towards Borla S-Type right now.

If JLU, add protective 3M film on rear hinges.

My first mod on my Rubi was Ace Engineering Rock Sliders. My daughter uses them as steps to get in and I like that they protect my Jeep from door dings from careless drivers that park too close to me. I also added a spiderweb shade. It's nice to not have the hot TX sun beating down on me when the freedom panels are off.

Back in the days of the TJ, the first "mod" used to be flipping the rear view window upside down. On the notoriously small windshield you'd gain a ton of extra visibility.

Anything easy like that?

I’m well beyond the 1K mark haha. I already had wheels, tires, lift, side steps, tint and custom leather before it left the lot. I was just trying to think of a lot of the small stuff I have missed. Like the 3M protector on the rear hinges is good. Maybe on the rear fenders as well for rocks being kicked up?

I think removing the stickers from the sides of the lower fenders looks nice, so it just has the Jeep badge. It’s pretty obvious it’s a Wrangler.
