Experience with Dynatrac Axles?

As someone who will not be purchasing a Wrangle Rubicon, I plan on upgrading the front Dana 30 with a Dynatrac ProRock 44 when they come out for the JL. Does anybody have experience with Dynatrac axles on their current Jeeps?

I'm just starting to get active on the forums here and noticed this post. It may be a bit older, however, I've had some great experiences with Dynatrac axles.

My 2014 JKU Rubicon first saw the edition of a PR44. It was great. Took all the worries out of front axle problems and it just worked! After some problems with with my stock D44, I decided it was time to go big or go home. Both axles were pulled and I went with an XD60 up front and a ProRock 80 in the rear. These axles were nuts! The craftsman ship was second to none and there was no doubt in my mind that breaking them wasn't in the cards!




Once my new JL shows up, the plan is to get a set of Dynatrac axles under it pronto!

Dynatrac makes solid stuff, you won't be disappointed. Not sure if they do custom width stuff or not though. I have D70's from Currie front and rear. (74" wheel mount surface -- ~66" is stock JK size I believe). My Currie axles have been solid as well. Both companies I think are somewhat similar price points, and all offer great customer service.

We'll see how high pinion holds up to 42" tires on 1200 horsepower -- I think that'll be the real test to see if we need to switch down to a low pinion 70.

It's $700 to upgrade from the PR60 rear to the PR80...

Not to be judgemental, but if $700 is going to blow the budget, you probably shouldn't be spending $18k on axles.

PR 60/60 is not $18k. Its $12,990 (https://[Banned Site]/showthread.ph...-Packages!?s=842adc3a21c74cd7780fc3284301681c). Lot more than $700 for PR60/80.

That $12,990 package is a fixed configuration, no options available. If you however build a custom spec, it’s about a $700 between a 60 & 80 rear.

I’m a Dynatrac dealer, have speced/sold/installed dozens of them. I have their axles under several of my JKs, and will have one of the first sets of JL ProRock axles under our JL.

No word on pricing yet. I’d expect them to be just a touch more than JK axles. The Spicers are about $300 more for the JL than they were for the JK.

Yes, they’re going to offer complete Bolt in axles.
