Can anyone share the weight of the Roam Side Steps? I'm considering Roam and ACE as additions to my 2018 JLU Rubi.
They are a bit heavy but I didn't weight them. I prefer ROAM over ACE. Its such a nicer product and looks really nice.

Thanks... so, just barely more than the standard Rubi Rock Rails. Good to know. Now I just need to find someone like you here in Austin to do the install/electrical for me. Tools and time are the issue.

How long did it take you to get them? I have been waiting for 3 weeks so far.......
Email them and ask. They answered quickly everytime and I think it speeds it up some.

So i installed my Roam steps earlier this week love the steps! I would note that they attach to factory rubi rail locations so I would expect them to handle light to medium trails and impacts. it definitely would not be suited for heavy impacts. If Roam made a frame mount of the same steps I would upgrade in a heart beat. All in all great steps and the perfect height!

I ordered the ACE Engineering sliders. I was on the fence between the ACE and Roam but in the end I couldn't look past the "ROAM" logo. It's just not my taste. If it didn't have that logo my decision would've been very easy.

I have a question for the Roam step owners! The holes and side edges on your steps, do you see any issues with stepping on them in bare feet? I know this may be an odd question but I live in the south and sometimes only use flip flops and when they get sandy we may pull them off or even stepping into the Jeep at your house just to move it if your bare footed! Would this be uncomfortable in any way!

That’s a great question, it’s something we wondered as well. Sorry I don’t have an answer for you!

I literally was just outside on them barefoot. No issues. Gussets are not sharp and the edges didn’t hurt either.

Just finished wiring the lights. Dam those wires are small. Didn't use a relay just connected them to aux 4. Look awesome and bright even in day light.

Were you able to program that aux button to turn on with dome lights? Since they turn on with key fob unlock

You can barely see the logo if you use the black plate. It doesn't stand out at all and is very easy to overlook.
