Stock-Wheel-Friendly Alternatives for Shock Relocation?

Hadn't seen these before. Do you have experience with these? This is what I got from the manufacturer:



If someone has used them and knows they clear, that would be awesome...

Two things. First I called Evo and confirmed you have to run spacers, just like MetalCloak, for these to work. Second the guy I talked to on the phone was having a really bad day. I have talked to MetalCloak, Adams Driveshafts, AEV, and other places and have not experienced such a nasty response.

To address the situation with factory 35" tires I went with Teraflex spacers from Northridge4x4. They did not break the bank, are USA made (confirmed with them on the phone), and with orange locktite they have not come lose.

Did the shop say the shock hitting the frame would damage the shock, or is it just limiting travel?

I’m running my shocks (rocksport reds) in the stock location and haven’t noticed any issues. Will have to check. I have a 2.5” MC lift on a JLUR.

Did you get a CTI score on the flex? Not sure if that is just something MetalCloak does.

The shop said they'd make contact and dent the shock body. Not sure what the score is, but no, I didn't get a score of any type.

Glad you had better luck than me. All I got from them was an "I dunno"...
