Metalcloak Front Lower Shock Relocation Brackets

For those that have installed these:

1) How did you get to the hole to drill out to 3/8”? Not a lot of room in there.

2) What the heck did you zip tie the brake line bracket to? I can’t find anything to zip it to.

I’ve used a right angle impact adapter and an impact step bit successfully in those kinds of tight spaces. As to the brake line bracket (the one that used to bolt to the lower control arm) remove it altogether using pliers and vice grips to bend it open.

This is the bracket that nests under the spring perch. Not the LCA one.

You just zip tie it around the line, to the slot on the inner side, where the metal tab used to go. Their photo is of the passenger side.

This is also a handy option to hold the brake lines. I also remove those bulky factory metal brackets off the lines. Gives a lot more length and flexibility.

+1 for the teraflex anchors, been on almost 4 years now with no issues……
