Thanks for the heads up. You made me go out and double check mine.
Looks like I have a 1/4" clearance right now.
I adjusted mine this past weekend to get 6.75" swing when I installed my ram, so hope it's good.

Did yours hit the edge of the bracket, no issues with the brake line?
Yup just edge of bracket. Brake line is ok.

Looks like when I got everything installed and centered, I too had my caliper hitting the bolt head when at full turn, so had to adjust the steering stops same as you.

I am curious, on mine, when the the driver side is full stuff with the 40" tires on and at full passenger steer, I have the tire ever so slightly hitting the inside front grill. The passenger side does not have this issue. I have the front centered in there after taking several measurements, so my guess is the frontend must rotate to the passenger side and/or forward at full stuff, because even the bump stop moves a little off center when fully compressed on the driver side unlike the passenger side. I think the shock reservoir on driver side may be a challenge for clearance as well.

Anyway, I'll have to figure this part out. I have the ram mounts burned in now with no clearance issues there, it was tight but good now.

This project has taken me longer than I thought doing the UD60 swap, PSC install, complete suspension swap, etc. by myself, I can say I am starting to feel my age on this one doing it by myself.

This thread has been very helpful in sharing your info and the challenges needed to overcome.

One option I heard is to off set your track bar to the passenger side a little as you are correct the axel will shift driver side when flexed out. You also could swap the driver side and passenger side shocks to run them in a piggyback set up too. Mine barely touches my reservoir at full stuff turned but I am ok with it for now.

Thanks Aaron.

I'll have to do some testing. I can easily trim a 1/4" off the back/ bottom part of the grill to get that tire clearance. For the remote reservoir, it will have to go somewhere else other than the front frame horns that I cut off anyway. I have Bilstein's with bypasses now, so mounting the reservoir to the shock body like you did won't work unfortunately.

I will figure something out. I ordered some universal reservoir mounts, and I may try to put the reservoir up high under the fender. The Bilstein's reservoir, the hose points down and has a swivel connector on it so positioning it is easier than the Fox 2.5's.

Hey Aaron, do you happen to have some decent pics how you ran the stock front brake lines?
I switched to the EVO front's, but they are way longer than I like, but they have better ends on them for use with UD60 calipers.

I am thinking going back to stock lines to clean it up, but looks like I would have to bend the piss out of them to work?

Grimm lines are only slightly longer than stock.

Thanks word302.
The Length is not the big issue for me, it's more the UD60 banjo bolt is on the side (pointing towards back of vehicle) of the caliper unlike the stock one being on the inside of the caliper, and the stock brake line just points straight inward so when you turn the wheel it ends up in the shock. Folks using stock lines must be bending them quite a bit. Both Aaron and I use front shock outboard brackets that make it even worse. I thought I might break the stock lines if I bent them too much.

Took a look at the Grimm install instructions.
They have a different end on them. Not sure if this would make it better or worse for me, lol.

You can position them however you need. 360°. They do have a slight bend to them. 30°ish but that’s a total guess without crawling in there and taking a look. Great product though.

Look at running metal springs mounted where they best suit you...found in any automotive store. Tried and true for decades in the buggy world:

Thanks for suggestions.
I missed this pic from the OP earlier in the thread.
The stock brake line metal ends, they are like an L-shape and will stick straight out and hit the shock on a UD60 brake setup when turning the wheels.
I can see the OP bent his a decent amount to curve around, and toward the front which was my thoughts as well, just did not know how much bending I could get away with.
The Grimm line might work if I go straight up with it and bend it straighter.
