Calling this the "ketchup" build since I missed the whole JK generation and feel I'm behind the power curve of building a 2020 JLUR that was recently purchased. Browsing thru all the other build threads on this forum has really helped me ketchup with what works and doesn't work for the new JL so a public thank you to all who post in this section. I still own a TJ/60s/40s/coilovers/stretched/LS3/atlas etc that has become more of a trailer queen over the years and in my opinion more obnoxious than not so the direction for this build is to really pull the reigns back and keep it streetable, but add a touch more offroad capability so I ordered a bunch of stuff:

Accutune 2.5" Stage 4 Lift, 2.5" Fox shocks w/DCS adjuster
Warn Zeon 10-S Platinum Winch
Warn OE Rubicon Winch Plate
37x12.50R17 Cooper STT Pros
Rusty's Hinge Spare Tire Carrier
1.75" Spydertrax wheel spacers to run the stock rims for now

Regearing and beadlocks are in the future but after already running trails like Ironchest and others here in Colorado I knew I needed to get more ground clearance from dragging the jeep over a rock or 12 so now that I have some time this week I'm gonna get the JL up on jacks after work today and start installing the lift.

Managed to get some work done on the front end tonight. Felt like a potato head getting all the control arms lined up and bolted in...but front lowers and uppers are in, bumps are in, both coil springs in and just the passenger side front shock for now. Don’t really like the default mounting location for the front remote reservoirs but for now that’s where they’re going. Wanna knock the lift out quick and get it back on its feet before I start tweaking stuff more to my liking.

I like the theme and how you have the experience to know what you don't want this to turn into. Builds go so well when there's a direction and intent. I bet the finished product is so clear in your mind, you can't wait to get your Heinz on it.

Haha well said Lee. But my mind has already wandered...I caught myself browsing drop-in D60s last night so had to quickly take my Heinz off the computer and walk away.

I pretty much got everything wrapped up except the new sway bars links. Spacers came in so I installed the fronts and after looking things over I feel really apprehensive about running em on stock axles. Hopefully the ball joints and everything else will hold up until I go to a more permanent solution.

37x12.50R17 Cooper STT Pros got mounted and balanced on stock rims today, forgot to weight the stock combo but these weigh 106lbs a corner + whatever the wheel spacers are...I was hoping to be lighter but can’t complain. And the 37 spare hits the rear bumper so I couldn’t mount it on the stock spare tire carrier. Aftermarket one should be here soon, fingers crossed.

Gonna keep the stock parts for a minute until the new mods shake out over the next couple of months.

Checked the reservoirs because I was curious what pressure Accutune filled them to and was reminded why I don’t like this mounting location. Maybe I dun goofed but followed the directions to a T. Pressure checks and filling are going to be bothersome in the short-term.

Then ordered up some Amazon razzle dazzle to keep dirty hands from destroying the steering wheel. The interior is just too nice compared to what I’m used to...a preemptive strike if you will. It does interfere with the heated steering wheel a bit but I’ll rock it for now.
