Actually, factory replacement locker sensors have been available for quite a while now. But like many things Stellantis it's not a straight forward fix.

When you receive your replacement sensor you might be surprised to see 5 of them in the package. Each one will have a different label on the it. You will install the first one, don't recall if it's number 1 or letter A. If the first one doesn't fix the problem remove it and install the second one. If the second one doesn't fix the problem remove it and install the third sensor. So on and so forth! After you find the one that will work for you you will have 4 that won't work and will be of no use to you.

Better than nothing I guess?
Yeah, and when they first came available they were north of 350.00……At least now you get 5 for 133.00, even though 4 are useless, …..🤣

Makes sense that 4Auto would kill his clutches. He should have been in 4High. User error.

I guess he makes enough money that the resultant voided warranty wouldn't matter? I'm thinking any driveline failures would be blamed on that.
It was replaced under warranty

Woah. That's fucked up. Maybe he's been listening to @Wbino?
As expected, @Wbino responded with an ad hominem attack. That's when you know he realized that he has no other defenses for his ludicrous stance.

It was subsequently deleted. I wonder if he was smart enough to do that on his own? I saved a screenshot of it, of course.

Are you thinking it'd still be covered by warranty if he'd been blatantly running it in 2wd?
If he were towing in 2wd it probably wouldn’t have failed in the first place since it was the front clutch.

There is no 2WD in a 392, right? Pretty sure they’re AWD only.
Yup AWD only.

I can see towing offroad doing it in 4hi as opposed to 4auto to preserve the clutches.

I'm not easy on mine and it runs like a top on and offroad.

Upgrading soon to 38s and will keep the stock MP3022 transfer case til it blows and warranty is denied then an Atlas II goes in.

His points on trading in due to those issues are points I would not trade in mine.

But to each their own

Anyone want to sell the 4 that didn't work for them? I'd gladly offset that $130 bucks if one worked in my rear diff. Each of those 4 leftovers would surely work for someone.
