Why is he referred to as "he who shall not be named"? He has a lot of great instructional videos.
I don’t know first hand. Allegedly some conflict with forum admin here and so he started his own forum I guess. He does have great vidoes. I’m just being a smart ass as usual. I don’t think you can type whey of life correctly….it comes up as [Banned Site].
Thanks. What was his profile name here?
I don’t even know. I haven’t been around long enough.
Because Eddie is a massive prick. He was never here. Thank God. He used to run J K forum before creating his new one. Initially things were pretty good over there. Then he started to let sponsorship money go to his head. He would ban people for discussing parts that had refused to sponsor on his forum, and attack members who talked about the behavior. If you want more info there used to be thread with hundreds of posts about the whole thing on J K owners forum. That was once an offshoot from Pirate4x4. Looks like they have new management as well.

These all look very nicely done.

My laugh is why can't jeep come out of the factory like this. It would save weight, weight costs money, costs MPG. Win win. Oh wait, I was thinking jeep would do something...

how hard was it to keep the stock plastic fender liners? could you share some pictures so I can see if and what you cut? I am looking at doing the same if I can keep the fenderliners without a huge hassle. Thanks-
This is all I cut when I was running the inner fender liners. Never had any issues

I figured it was something like that. I used to lurk, keep my mouth shut and learn a bunch on Pirate

Have heard that form a few people now. It's almost hard to believe. He seems so helpful and nice on his videos. Apparently, on the forums, he's a Jekyll and Hyde personality. That's a shame.

I find it hilarious that his opinion on a company switches 180 based on if they give him money or demo parts. He used to ban any person who mentioned Synergy or Poly Performance, and talk about how inferior they were to whatever they were compared to, then they finally caved and did business with him, now they are the greatest thing since sliced bread. If I recall correctly, he even tried to sue Nitto when they decided to stop promoting their Nitto Jeep Experience with him.

After owning for 3 months I noticed an imperfection developing on one of my lights so I decided to go another route. Went with Metalcloak because they have excellent reviews across the board. I should be good now.

I have the same one, going to install next week. Decided i wasn't going to get an aftermarket inner fender, I'm just going to trim the factory one.

Not the first, nor that last, to be against it before they were for it. 💰🤑💰

I just ordered some AAL brackets, no lights, and the Motobilt inner fenders. I'm on the fence on buying AAL LEDs. I have some Amazon aluminum strip lights that I've been using for a couple years when I take the fenders off completely. They seem to do the job well and they're still working. I'll try them with some 2 way foam tape to see if I want to spend a fistful of hundred dollar bills for looks.

I'll put a reminder on the 2026 calendar.
Apologies, I meant photos of the Amz strip lights when the fenders are off. I couldn’t tell from your Pinyon & JB vids where they were (bright days).

I recently saw some prototypes of a new fender chop kit that is different from all the thin line LED style chop kits.
I'll share pics as soon as I can, but guessing it'll be summer-ish before I can.

2019 JLUR. Installed the Quake chop this last fall and could not be happier. I removed the plastic inner fender and installed the DV8. Love the look and, so far, have had zero issues (knock on wood).
